  • The durability of these pants is also impressive
The 5.11 Tactical Women's Taclite Lightweight EMS Pants with Adjustable Waistband are a great option for any woman in the emergency medical services industry. These pants are designed to provide comfort, durability, and functionality, all while being stylish and professional. One of the standout features of these pants is their lightweight and breathable material. Made from a blend of polyester and cotton, these pants are comfortable to wear even during long shifts. The material also wicks away sweat and moisture, which helps to keep you dry and comfortable throughout the day. Another great feature of these pants is the adjustable waistband. This allows for a comfortable, customizable fit that is ideal for all-day wear. The waistband also features reinforced belt loops, ensuring that your belt stays in place throughout the day. In terms of functionality, these pants have plenty of pockets for storage. There are two cargo pockets with internal dividers, two rear pockets with flaps, and two front pockets with reinforced edges. This provides ample space for carrying essential equipment and supplies, making these pants an excellent choice for EMS workers. The durability of these pants is also impressive. They feature triple-stitch construction, reinforced knees, and a Teflon finish that repels stains and liquids. This ensures that they will hold up well over time and withstand the demands of the job. One thing to note is that the sizing of these pants can be a bit tricky, so it's important to double-check the sizing chart before ordering. Also, the fabric may require ironing after washing to maintain a professional appearance. Overall, the 5.11 Tactical Women's Taclite Lightweight EMS Pants with Adjustable Waistband are a great choice for any woman in the emergency medical services industry. They provide comfort, durability, and functionality, all while being stylish and professional. With their ample pocket space and adjustable waistband, these pants are sure to become a staple in any EMS worker's wardrobe. ... show more

  • I like what I like.
So, if you've never had 5.11 pants, here's a secret: The sizing is neurotic. I have different styles of their women's tac pants in 8 all the way up to 18... and they all fit today. Typically, I have 32" waist and 44" hips and bigger thighs. I'm 5'8" and have a longer inseam. I like my pants to bunch just a little at the ankle, which the long lengths do perfectly. My waist/hips measurements go up and down through the year. In this taclight EMS pants, I have 2 pairs that are 12 long, 1 14 reg (didn't have 12 long), and this 18 long. I need baggy pants for an upcoming event that will have me in harnesses and dangling off stuff. In the past, I've done those in my 12s and found the pinching to be unbearable. I went with the 18 because I tried a 16 at the store and it felt smaller than my 14? This has happened before. I don't know if they vanity size until they have customer base, or if it's a "varies by factory" thing. The 18s are comfortably (not comically) loose all the way around, but still shapely/fit and still compliments my shape. My husband asked if I lost weight. I'll try not to read into that. This style does have hidden elastic in the band. It's excellent for curvey types or folks that want the waist flair. If you have bigger or muscular legs, these could be what you're looking for. As far as durability and use, I wear these for search and rescue. They've held up through briars, barbed wire and hecka bad weather. One pair got hung on a metal shank when I was scaling a fence. The hole was only 2" and I was left hanging cause it wasn't giving. It never frayed or spread through the last 2 years of use. Another time, I went face down and nearly got impaled through the leg (someone cut off tree saplings into 8"spikes... on purpose). The sapling went through the neoprene of my muck boot, through my sock, but hit and slid across the pant leg. That's probably a function of the tight knit or whatever, but if you saw the holes and the horrific blood filled bruise, you'd wanna say the pants saved me too. If you're wearing tac belts, rigger's belts, or gun belts, the waist band is smooth and doesn't have fat hard seams that will bind. What discomfort I had with a rigger was in my thighs from snug fabric and harnesses, which will hopefully be remedied. Pockets are all fine. I like that they don't look all poofy like fatigue pants. One thing that I LOVE about these is that the inner thighs are not fraying, pilling, or wearing. This has been a point of contention (I've had) with some other expensive tac pants that coming in black/navy. I HATE looking down and seeing those little loose threads and discoloration. I *know* no one cares, but I hate it. Also, the color of the black and blue has held up really well. **I do treat all my gear with permethrin which can discolor cheap dyes. Even still, I have to look at labels to tell which pair is the oldest or the newest. Do wash before first wear. They won't stay water repellant. I've scotch guarded a different style and it' worked really well as a cold/wet weather pant. ... show more

  • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Durable & Functional – Perfect for my daughter's EMS School Uniform!
Color: Black 2 Size: 8 Long
I bought these pants for my daughter, who is in EMS school, and they have been fantastic! The material is lightweight but durable, making them comfortable for long days of training. The fit is great—not too tight or baggy—and allows for plenty of movement. She especially loves the 19 pockets, which help keep all her essential gear easily accessible. The quality is top-notch, and they still look brand new after multiple washes. Definitely a great investment for anyone going into EMS! ... show more

  • Great pants, sizing is weird!
I recommend purchasing from 5.11 site, more sizing options reliably in stock. I bought these pants for EMS work. My only criticism is the sizing/fit. I wear a women's size 6-8 (28-29) and I'm 5'7", and I ended up with a size 14 Long in these pants. I recommend sizing up by at least 2-3, they just run small. I purchased several different sizes and just picked the ones that fit best. The return process was pretty easy and I got completely refunded within a week. I also recommend Long if you're over 5'6". They cover my boots and don't ride up the ankle. Other than the sizing, these pants rock! Durable, comfortable, and there are a zillion pockets and loops that come in handy when carrying extra gear. They're a little snug in the thigh region, which is fine but makes me question the design as far as female body shapes. As for critiques for 5.11, I would echo other customers' reviews regarding sizing/fit. They only go up to certain size, and thus limit options for folks with larger sizes and different shapes. I recommend checking out Reddit for discussions on larger sized EMS pants. Time for women to revolutionize the EMS clothing industry! ... show more

  • 5.11 tactical women’s taclite EMS pants
Color: Dark Navy 2 Size: 6
I love 5.11 products . I’m 5’2 and I weigh 117 lbs. I originally ordered size 10 regular and it was too big so I decided to try size 6 regular. It fits perfectly and it’s comfortable. There’s only a minor issue that the pants are too long for me but no big deal. It’s an easy fix’

  • Listen to the reviews, poor sizing and super low rise.
Color: Dark Navy 2 Size: 14 Long
Listen to the reviews, I had to size up to a 14 which I never wear in any other clothes because the inseam is so incredibly short. They were also tight in the hips and thighs. For work pants they should have a relaxed fit and a higher rise for bending over and moving around. I’m not sure who these pants are even made for. They seem durable though and I like all the pockets. I’ve never bought anything from 5.11 but seems like they should have quality goods and this was a big disappointment because of the sizing. ... show more

  • Great Quality, Runs SMALL!! Great Quality, Runs SMALL!!
I am always a size 4 in Gap, Old Navy, Loft, Banana Republic Etc. I ordered a size 4 and a size 6 based on reviews saying they are tight. The size 6 fits. The size 4 that I normally wear was too tight in the waist and crack. Pants look like they are very good quality. They have a little more of a sheen than the V2 EMS pants (BTW, I am my normal size 4 in the V2 EMS Pants). These pants definitely run smaller than the VS pants. Even though they are the Teflon, I don't think they feel heavy all. I can't stand heavy weight pants. I am keeping these in the size 6 and the V2s in the size 4. As far as the rise, I'd say they are mid rise (not high rise) but it seems like they are made slightly higher in the back so when you bend over, they don't get too low in back. The V2s are about the same rise but they don't feel higher in the back. ... show more

  • THESE PANTS ARE NOT MADE FOR WOMEN THESE PANTS ARE NOT MADE FOR WOMEN
I’m a size 10 but I figured I’d size up because 5.11 has a hard time catering to curvier women in the EMS field. But guys there’s no reason for these weird a** pants to make me look so squared from the front and flat from the back. These pants specifically were in no way designed by a woman because I feel like a woman would know. The elasticity of the belt is built really cool looking but it gives you a weird ass muffin top in the front from how tight it is along with how low it fits on you and a super loose awkward flap in the back that is also for some reason more high up than the front? They’re hard to bend in because they give no accountability to a woman’s thighs. Like I can feel the front digging into my stomach and thighs when I sit. And I ordered a size 12. When wearing these pants you’re essentially a lint magnet. Like they look super cool on paper with the 19 pockets or whatever but these are an agony to wear and I have not had this problem with any other company for pants. I like 5.11 but these are THE WORST product they’ve ever pushed out. Because they’re so uncomfortable and unflattering. ... show more
