This was an interesting find! I like the idea that the tree is meant to look like a birch tree. I've been looking for one similar to this and was happy to find it. This 24" tree is super easy to assemble, needs just a few batteries, and looks really cute. The ornaments that it comes with are themed like the Fourth of July and are red, white and blue. It would be easy to rotate ornaments throughout the year on this tree because the lights are a soft yellow. The negative I saw with this tree was in the tape that is meant to wrap the base making it look like a birch tree - two parts were starting to come off (easily fixed). There are also a lot of gaps in the tree's limb coverage. It says "remote control," but I didn't get a remote - it's controlled by a switch on the base. Considering the price and the value, I would recommend this.

If you've ever wanted to have a decorated tree up for almost every holiday throughout the year but didn't want to be given the side-eye by friends and loved ones for keeping your Christmas tree in full view year round, this is your solution. The price is definitely right. I'm old enough to remember a time when you only saw trees and decorations in stores from right after Halloween until Christmas and in homes from Thanksgiving until Christmas--any longer than that and you'd get the "dude, just take it down already". Over the years, though, once mini trees and decorations became a thing, I started to see them for more and more seasons throughout the year. And I caught the bug. I love that this is a light-integrated tree rather than one with a string of lights that requires an outlet, simply for the versatility of placement. The battery compartment on the bottom of the base takes 3-AA batteries, and there are two brightness settings in addition to the Off setting on the switch. The "limbs" and "branches" are fully bendable and can be arranged in almost any way that is most pleasing to your eye. The lack of foliage makes it kind of season-appropriate (dependent on where you live) to be used for New Year's, Valentine's Day, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day, when the trees are actually barren of leaves. I do already have an unlighted one with black branches I purchased at Halloween a few years back that requires a light string in order to be illuminated, but this would be a good option for fall season decorating as well. This is a nice little unit. I only took off one star (seriously, we need half star increments) for the birching job. I would imagine that having to wrap the birch patterned tape from top to bottom, tight enough to look like a birch trunk while allowing free positioning of the "limbs" was a bit of a conundrum and they did the best they could. And I wouldn't imagine, truth be told, that anyone would think it was a real mini birch tree. It does somewhat break the immersion a bit, though, to see obvious seams and gaps. Answer is to camouflage those areas best you can. There aren't many, mind you, but worth a mention. Overall, this is such a good deal, you can get multiples if you wish so you can store each season's tree away as decorated, to just pull out the next year to display.

Some assembly required but it was easy enough. Came with some basic plastic 4th of July ornaments that immediately started losing glitter & that the toddler quickly became obsessed with so those got put up & I threw on a few summer themed trinkets instead. This tree could literally be used for any holiday depending on what you put on it & I love that versatility! It takes 3 AA batteries & has a timer switch which runs for 6 hours on & 18 hours off. So if I switch it onto timer at 6pm it’ll turn itself off at midnight & back on again at 6pm for a continuous cycle, which is so easy! However, the 1st night I went back after a few hours & started readjusting some of the branches & the whole thing blinked for a second & I’m assuming this reset the timer countdown because it did not shut off as expected & I shut it off myself. However the next night I turned it onto timer again at 6pm & it has been doing it correctly ever since then. There is only the single switch on the side of the base of the tree, there is no remote.

I was extremely upset when I opened my new birch tree and one of the star ornaments was broken. I went ahead and set up my new tree at work and went about my day. One of my coworkers took the broken star and stuck it on the tip of one of the branches and it looks great. Turned some lemons into lemonade. Sometimes it just takes thinking outside the box a little. Yes, I would have preferred a full set of unbroken ornaments but what I have works. The little ornaments are adorable and I love that it can be used for any holiday. For the price, it is definitely worth having!

...that will add a lot to my winter tablescape theme of birch branches, chickadees, goldfinches, pine cones, some red and black buffalo check ribbon and and silver/pewter accents thrown in. I like that the tree is battery operated so it can be used anywhere without the need of an electrical outlet. I likely will not use the included ornaments on it, as the 4th of July theme doesn't fit the time of year of bare birch branches here in Oregon, though the stars and plain balls might work. But the ornaments are cute and I can use them in other decorating schemes. The tree is just the right size to perk up the middle of the table without being too bulky and in the way and the lights are a nice warm white.

This 24" Lighted Birch Tree is very easy to assemble. You just screw it into the base after connecting the cable for the lights. It is easy to spread out the branches and shape any way you want. There are 12 ornaments included with the tree for the 4th of July, 6 glitter stars of various sizes and 6 bulbs. It requires 3 AA batteries which aren't included. You can use this tree for different holidays just by changing the ornaments. I think it even looks cute by itself! The branches can be bent so the ornament is able to be placed wherever you want it on the branch as they are easy to bend. For the price, this is a great addition to your decor!
