Having used drug store foundations for years, I've had many rashes and frequently irritated skin. I desperately needed a foundation that had less irritating ingredients. After reading reviews on this product and several competitors, I finally decided to try Sweet Face Minerals. I love that these have simple ingredients. I ordered the deep tan based on the majority of reviews saying the colors run pale; I'd probably have purchased beige otherwise. Using mineral makeup is an adjustment from using a liquid, it does require a bit of practice and finesse. However I found it to be versatile. You can get much or as little coverage as you want, and if your base color is too light or dark it's easy to correct. I only gave it four stars because I think the shade chart is very misleading. If I hadn't read the multiple reviews, I would have ended up with the wrong shade, and I think Sweet Face really needs to fix the description to avoid customer issues.

First off, this is extremely disappointing makeup. I honestly thought this was bare minerals and picked the wrong thing. I decided to try it and here is my thoughts: This does NOT stay on your face it literally looks thick even when barely putting on. I call thus the frosting look The makeup burns!!!! I had it on for ten minutes and had to wash it off. The brush it comes with completely fell apart trying to use it so I had black hair fibers all over the place The containers are cheap and made it hard to tap the access off the brush This is the worst makeup I have ever purchased and hoping this can be returned. What a waste of money

I was skeptical how well this mineral powder would work, but I love how well the concealer works under my eyes and on blemishes. The foundation covers nicely, and blends well! It looks so natural and doesn’t feel like your wearing any make up.
