I've never used mineral foundation before, so I didn't have any expectations for this set. I've just been looking for a foundation for my aging and oily skin that doesn't look caked on, chalky, or emphasize the lines under my eyes. I really love this stuff! I have rosacea and this doesn't bother it at all. I can even use it the day after doing an at home micro infusion. It doesn't feel at all heavy. The concealer is surprisingly good and covers my genetic under eye circles. It doesn't leave my skin looking chalky matte; it's just a soft kind of natural looking finish. It is more matte if I use the rice powder after the foundation, so if you wanted that look you could do it with this set. I've used other powder foundations from a well known brand (baked & brighten) but the colors were always either too pale or too orange. For reference, my skin is light and I have blue eyes. My undertone is EXTREMELY cool (lipstick, blush, and foundation always goes VERY ORANGE on me) and the pink bisque is very nice. There's some UV protection in mineral foundations, but you'll still need sunscreen under this! The included brush is too fluffy IMO, so I use a stiffer foundation brush that I already had. The included one works fine with the finishing powder though. I'm surprised at how much I like this, and I'll be wearing it all summer.

I ordered this not being a fan of powder foundations. I decided to try it as I want to find a good lightweight foundation that I don’t feel I am caking on. It came with the concealer, foundation, and setting powder. I love how easy it was to match my color (even with an extreme sunburn I was able to hid!). I love the feel (or lack there of). This is one I will be ordering again. I loved that they sent out instructions how to apply as well as the best way to match it to your skin tone!

I purchased the Sweet Face package that came with Mineral foundation, concealer , make up veil. & a brush! The brush arrived completely broken - it is unusable, tbe mineral loose powder foundation and the mineral veil ( sets your makeup- the continents were broken ! So hen I tried to sprinkle some of the powder into the lid to eat it on my brudh( an old one tht I had) the entire container of powder spilled out! The piece of plastic that have the holes in it to adequately sprinkle power into the cap to get on your brush , was not secure on the container and I could not successfully attach it! This also was the case with the mineral veil! The color I selected was the color I ALWAYS use - it was a natural beige- I looked ORANGE!! Like a sweet potato!! The WORST makeup I ever purchased!! Don’t waste your money!!!

This is a great buy. I used Bare Minerals for years. I tried this and it’s great. Beige seems to be popular color if you are not sure. Not too light and not too dark. It goes on nicely with brush they give you. It doesn’t take much either to cover your face. Also, when you open it, it’s hard to figure out how to open. Once you open the lid, turn that plastic dial to the left until you see the holes open up for you. Then tap some in the lid of a larger flat cap and you are good to go. Or tap some in lid it came with. I have a cap that is little larger and like it better.

Absolutely gorgeous coverage! It applied beautifully over my moisturizer and sunscreen and did not settle into fine lines throughout the day. The finish is smooth, natural, and flattering. I have very sensitive skin and use tretinoin, so I am always cautious about complexion products. I was pleased that this applied smoothly without emphasizing dryness or irritation. For shade reference, I purchased Beige. My shade in CoverGirl Aqua Smoothers is Buff Beige 725, and Beige was a great match for me.

It is very messy to use. The warm color is very light. Disapointing that they charge you to return the item. And charge you 20% restocking fee. I would just try to keep it. However none of it works for me. So I am going to just settle pretty much for half of a refund.
