This is an infuriating, horrendous quality camera whose every aspect "looks" like it should work, but doesn't. EXTREMELY hard to use. Sound kit doesn't work. 4K doesn't consistently work. White balance is constantly shifting to the point the image is destroyed. No focus. Terminology is all weirdly translated so there's that. Quality is the worst I've ever seen -- worse than any camcorder you've every owned going back to the 1980's. Manual is unreadable in English. Just don't waste your time on this cheap thing. I seriously wouldn't buy it at a garage sale for $20. Your old FLIP PHONE takes better video and photos.... and has better sound. Not sure what the other reviewers were reviewing, but it's pretty obvious what happened. ... show more

    • Wonderful Hi Res vlogging camera with fantastic features at an affordable price.
I knew I would love this camera as soon as I opened up the box. The various components were individually wrapped, and the instruction set was clear. I was able to install the microphone, battery, stabilizer and shroud, with minimal time and effort. The camera comes with 2 batteries, which you charge with the provided usb cable. I prefer this to a wall charger, because I am able to use a portable usb juice box, for charging on the go. Having two batteries is great, as you can double your filming time. I do most of my vlogging outside, so having the lens shroud was a welcome way to dampen sun glare. I also liked the foam on the mic, as this cuts down on wind noise. The view screen pivots 180, which is great when filming yourself in the 3rd person, as you can easily see what is showing up on camera. This unit uses SD cards for storage, which is awesome, in that you can use many cards with loads of storage. I also appreciated the stabilizer handle, as it made the camera really feel like an extension of my hand, and was not cumbersome. The video quality is superb, and I enjoyed using the included remote control, that way you could set the camera down, and not need to use the imbedded controls. The night vision feature was a welcome addition, and felt like the quality was not diminished, as I have found on some other cameras. All in all, if you are looking to get into vlogging, you will love the size, portability and quality of this camera. I would recommend this camera to everyone I know! ... show more

It's an impressive setup for the price. I'm got it to file time lapse videos of plant grows. I can just hook up the power supply and let it sit there for day in and day out. It's also very light I can carry it around with me to hikes. The user manual is kind hard to understand, i had to test out the functions one by one. ... show more

I've gone through a few of these 4k cameras in the past, and one thing I always hate about the "sports" models is how fish eyed and distorted the video looks. This one doesn't have that problem and is clearly more suited for anything you need a lightweight travel cam for. It's chunky but extremely light, and also comes in a cute little storage case. I've been wanting to buy a camera for beginners since me and my friends skate and try to film some stuff. I have a drone so we needed some shots in the ground. The stabilizer handle is a really neat addition since I can do some rolling shots. The quality is really nice and I can say it probably competes with the quality of an iPhone. The camera fits in my small backpack and when doing the rolling shots it is very easy since the camera is lightweight.     • Reasonable but frustrating
I bought 3 if these cameras to shoot multiple angles at once for training videos. I missed that they take USB Mini and not Micro so I had to order adapters. Lame. Most frustrating is there is no battery charger included with the purchase which means the entire camera must be plugged in, with no way to charge the other batteries. Lame. Remote turns the camera off, but not on so I have to climb a ladder to get to my overhead. Lame. Video quality is great, but quality and sharpness is set to medium in the menu; easy to turn to high, but why doesn't it come that way? Worth the money but why no battery charger?!?! I bought this video camera because my current video camera of 10 years has become far too outdated. I have been wanting a new camera with better video quality, longer battery life, and a night vision feature if possible. Luckily, I was able to find this camera with just what I was looking for + more features such as the microphone and remote control! The only issue I have ran into with this camera is that the zoom in/out feature is a bit slow for my preference, also the night vision is not as clear as I had hoped, however I still use it. the night vision is pretty impressive. I literally am able to use this camera like a flashlight. its THAT clear. it kind of reminds me of the paranormal activity camera lol I think the battery goes dead slightly soon but it comes with 2 batteries so no complaints 😉
