This is some powerful stuff! If you are trying to get rid of weeds, or do some serious cleaning, this is the stuff for you. Be aware, this is NOT your kitchen vinegar. You will need to wear gloves, long sleeves, and a mask. I'm not kidding. Don't be stupid. Take care of yourself, but it will do the trick for you, and it will kill those weeds without having to use poisons. Make sure you also have a good sprayer. I am really glad I got it. I dilute this to about 20-30% strength then use my Hudson sprayer to spray this on the weeds in my sidewalk, patio, and driveway. Highly effective. The smell is strong and takes a day or two to dissipate. It’s also useful for doing laundry but must be used sparingly and diluted to about 20% strength. So I loaded some of this potent stuff into a water bottle sprayer and went outside and sprayed down some weeds with it. I didn’t bother diluting it at all because I was feeling a bit lazy and also because I wanted these weeds to get absolutely decimated. This stuff works! I did this during the middle of the day when the sun was at its brightest and hottest and let me tell you, within 30 minutes the weeds turned brown and shriveled up. You might want to wear a mask and goggles when you use this stuff. One whiff is enough to make it feel like your lungs are melting, also if the wind blows just right and your eyes get graced with this, it’s like a thousand onions kissing your eyeballs and you will cry! Cons: I smelled like vinegar to the tenth power for a few hours because the bottle I was sent leaked a bit through the cardboard Amazon box. ... show more

I purchased this on the advice of my son, who used it to clear weeds from his garden. You must read the directions carefully in terms of how to dilute it, because it can be used for many purposes, including usual kitchen, or laundry purposes. When using it at a higher strength, it can burn your skin and your eyes, so it is very important to where eye protection and gloves. It did away with some of the nastiest weeds in my garden. I purchased this for some grass/weed control in my driveway and patio. To be honest, I think this works just as well as the chemical weed killers from the big box stores. I'm not a tree hugger, but I do appreciate the fact that I'm not exposing myself (or family, neighbors, and local pets) to potentially poisonous chemicals. This stuff does have a very strong odor - much stronger than the other stuff - but it dissipates fairly quickly (unless you spill some in your garage lol). I used this on some grass/weeks coming up in the cracks on my driveway, patio and sidewalk. Sprayed fairly early in on a warm day and things were starting to get brown by the end of the day. A couple days later, everything was dead enough that I was able to scrape it off with a shovel with minimal effort. I suggest wearing gloves and eye protection. Don't think it would burn the skin with just a splash, but I definitely wouldn't want to get it in my eyes! Will buy again for future small weed/grass killing needs. ... show more

Purchased to spot treat weeds and kill of large areas of grass before sheet mulching. Wear gloves and a mask, even working outdoors. I attached a sprayer to the top and got to work, spraying down areas of grass we wanted to kill off in the morning on a sunny day. The sun then FRIED the grass. After a few days, I put my cardboard down and sheet mulched the area. This effectively kills off grass for more garden beds without having to dig things up. I also use this for spot treating nasty weeds. Similar steps--spray in the morning on a sunny day, then let the sun nuke the weeds. They are much easier to pull out when they are dead!
