Very bright, easy install. I like it has the white, and the amber and the white/amber choices. Donβt really need the flashing portion, but.. if you hold the mode button for 5 seconds, it will by pass to the 1st light selection, which is white.

Good: Build quality is better than expected, white light has good spot pattern directly in front of the bar. amber light is more flood/Wide pattern that goes to the sides as well as the front. Spot ( ) vs Flood ( ) The vertical spread is the same for both amber and white, and doesn't light up the sky. Wiring harness is excellent, it uses a Relay to power the lights, has appropriately sized wires for the actual amount of power the bar draws. However the provided "On Off" and "Mode" buttons feel terrible and cheap. Bad: It advertises 180W output, Max power draw is 40-50W in all modes. when white only is on draw is 40-50W, when amber only is on 40-50W, when amber and white are on 40-50W so it is limited by the internal circuitry of the device. If the 180W claimed was incorrectly translated as meaning light output, then it exceeds this claim by a good margin. The light is bright like modern headlights, but not blinding. Unable to tell the difference in brightness between the light bar and the actual headlights on my 2019 Chevy Colorado with LED headlights. Notes For Nerds: Red Wire = + Black Wire = Ground Yellow Wire = Mode triggers on Positive Pulse to next mode, 3 Second pulse goes to solid White. Yellow wire can also be used to sync multiple lights to the same timing and mode by connecting all the yellow wires together. Relay Provides power to Red Wire, other lights can be added, Standard automotive relay rated 40A so 20 will work great. allowing 8 units to be controlled by one harness, however with the wire size I would stay below 4. LEDs are dimmable by Voltage, PWM does not work and they stay off. First visible light in dark room starts at exactly 7V, Current limiting starts at 12.73V increasing voltage does not increase power draw. max voltage I tried was 20V Looks like it will be difficult to disassemble to get access to internals. foam tape used as seals, with screws used to clamp against the foam.

The media could not be loaded. Bench tested it looks to be super bright. Can't wait to install it would be nice if was sold as a kit with vehicle specific brackets. I had to order the brackets for my truck separate once they get here I'll be installing it. Got it installed looks great going to be ordering more

My truck ('13 Toyota Tundra) spends a lot of time out in the sticks on camping, hunting, fishing, and mountain biking adventures, so having the power of the sun on the grille has become a must have for me. This light bar looked really promising given it's length and curve. I measured my grille best I could before ordering and I was shocked how well it lined up with the curvature of the Tundra grille. It's the perfect length too. So things were looking really good so far. Then I opened the wire harness and started getting cold feet. The connectors and loom look typical for these style bars, but wow, they missed big time on the switch unit! The switches and housing feel incredibly cheap and they're an embarrassment on my otherwise nice looking dash. The wire comes in from the top, so no chance to mount over a hole and hide the wire. The buttons are so loose and wobbly that the mode button only activates if you hit it just right. There's still plastic flashing on both the buttons and the housing, and the buttons themselves are tiny. Hitting them with gloves on has proven to be a challenge. I could go on, but you get the idea... I've already got the light installed and harness ran, so I'm not going to take it off for the switch now, but somewhat disappointed in myself for proceeding with the install after seeing the quality of the switch. However, I will be taking it apart and duplicating the switches with my own, quality switches that look nice and can be mounted flush. Overall for my use, the light bar itself is good. I love the amber for fog but not sure I'd ever have a use for the strobe? Maybe if I randomly stumble across an Ultra 4 race in my travels, then I'd be just like the cool kids and flash to pass!
