These are a great baby shower gift idea for new parents. They have a variety of thoughtful questions for new parents and these will support keeping them bonded in their parenting journey. Prompta 400 conversation cards for New Parents. We got this as a couple who’s been married 5+ years and TTC. To disperse any confusion, theres 200 cards which are double-sided, hence 400 prompts total. 200 of the prompts are for couples in general and the other 200 for those who are parents. There’s even an extra card included to keep your space been asked and unasked questions. While these are a bit tiny, I love that they’re double sided and the packaging, as well, wastes no product and is eco-friendly. There’s a literal ton of cards in this box and each one unique. I advise going through one color first and then the other. That’s just how we did it per session so it felt less “heavy”. I would recommend this product for those who are expecting, have kids, or are just thinking about trying. Or as a baby shower gift. It’s really good for your relationships to talk about these things and helps spouses feel respected, heard, and learn new things about the other. These are especially good when you’re having one of those long evenings where you “just don’t know what to do” together. I was skeptical all the questions would be relevant to me but almost all got my brain spinning in one way or the other. I like that they put some thought into this “game” instead of using generalized phrases etc. It says online that they’re a small business but doesn’t say where this is made. I ranked this product 5 stars because it deserves it. Although, I wish the price were closer to ten bucks or so for the size, I don’t regret getting this and will probably share with other couples after hubby and I have finished it.

These cards have started some great conversations for my husband and I! The cards are double sided, with the green side having questions for couples and the orange side having questions about parenting. This set of cards would be great for a serious couple at any stage, as it would bring up some important conversations that would help better plan and prepare for what life would be like when/if you had kids, as well as just to grow closer as a couple. A few of the parenting questions wouldn’t be applicable to a couple without a child yet as they ask about how parenting has been so far, but you could easily skip over those and spend time on the majority of questions about future parenting hopes and ideas. Very nice quality, compact set of cards. The box is very sturdy. I’m planning to share them with my sister who has been married for 18 months and is waiting another couple of years before they start trying to have children. I know she and her husband will especially enjoy these!

We haven’t made our way through all of the questions yet and I didn’t want to peek ahead because it’s kind of nice for neither one of us to know what’s coming. While we have skipped some questions in regards to the parenting because they won’t apply for a few more years (they’d still be great discussions but we wanted to talk about more immediate things so far), I do still find all of them great and they’ve caused some great discussions for us. Due to his work schedule, we don’t get a lot of time together daily so we keep them on the dining room table and grab 2 or 3 cards for whatever meal we’re having. Their compact size is great for on the go if you want to take them on a trip or have them as car ride discussions and there are a lot of them so they will last us a while.

We are first time parents so the parenting questions are fun and a good way to start important discussions and get on the same page! Some of the more couple focused questions aren't great for a married couple who has been together for a while, but some are still fun to ask, but I find we are skipping most of those ones since we already know them. I think this could be awesome for a new-er couple, but they may be less likely to be talking about some of the parenting questions. Some of the couple questions do seem to lead more into parenting questions which is why we ordered these cards! The little already asked card is a nice touch. We like these and think they are fun to just ask a few a day!
