I originally bought this to convert my son's Traxxas Slash to a monster slash. However, it was a bit too big. I was having major rubbing issues when the wheels are turned. So, I installed it on my Traxxas Rustler 4x4 vxl and it fit like a glove. No rubbing with stock configuration at all. It looks awesome too!!! The tires feel a bit soft but that is ok with me. I can do wheelies in stock configuration with 2S lipo battery. I have not jumped with the rims yet. I will make updates after taking it to the park with some easy jumps. The rims feel somewhat solid. I will see how long they will last. For now, it is 5 stars. YOU HAVE TO GLUE THE TIRES TO THE RIM BEFORE USING!! Otherwise, the tires will come off the rim. ... show more

As I said, they’re great for the price. They have just enough grip to grip up super quick on grass, gravel, tarmac, and even loose dirt. They’re just a little bigger than the stock gorgon wheels which was great for the top speed. I’ll be switching the motor pinion out for a slightly smaller one. I like running brushed on 2s, so these are great for my setup. Next time I get them though I’ll have to either cut the foams out in the center like a canoe, or leave them out entirely. I’ve had a few rough hits and they still roll true. If you’re looking for affordable replacements for your gorgon. I would say I recommend these. Not for anything over 2-3s on brushless though. And I’d say 4500kv+ might blow them. ... show more

Bashing with these tires on my AE Rival MT10 was awesome. They're slightly larger diameter than the stock tires and way more grippy so they improved the speed and handling quite a bit. On 2S the speed was similar to a throttled down 3S. WHEN these break I will most definitely be purchasing more to replace them. ... show more

Tires are great but the rims are cheap and didn’t last long. First run with the tires on my slash the inside of the rim came apart and the tire came off was going to return but decided not to because I can use the tires for when my tires from the prolines I bought go bad

The tread alone on these earth slinging monsters are so nice it’ll make you wanna slap yo momma! However it’s best you contain your excitement or you could possibly get beat with the very same thick tread having earth slinging monsters that made you want to slap yo momma yo begin with. So with that being said you will love two things guaranteed,first of course is the momma and at a very close second it these thick tread having earth slinging monsters. didn’t know i had to put it together but i did it’s kinda easy but when i press the wheel down and squish it u can hear it whistling and it’s not supposed to happen. they look big the plastic isn’t good plastic stock arrma rims are more like heavy duty plastic but overall they are ok
