This Heavy Duty Anti Slip Tape roll comes wrapped in a thin plastic wrap. It has a strong adhesive smell when I first opened it. The top is like a very rough sandpaper and the bottom part is a thin layer of adhesive. I originally ordered intending to put some strips on my stairs as the bottom step blends in with the floor below, even knowing this I've fallen at least twice since moving in! Unfortunately the 4 inch black strip just doesn't look quite right. I don't have a steady enough hand to cut it in straight lines to be a narrower. However, I tested a piece of this tape elsewhere and it seems to do a good job of staying adhered. I'll save it for a future use and I would recommend it if you need a wide anti-slip tape. ... show more

5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I got this tape because a Glock 23 we bought used came with this kind of tape on the grip, and I ended up really liking it. Some eventually had worn off, so we ordered this to replace it. It works great! I’m looking for more things to put it on, I like it so much. Really makes it so you can get a good grip on things. To me, it feels like about a 40-80 grit sandpaper, but more flexible, with a glue backing. This roll seems like an amount that can be used for many applications. Some people with softer, sensitive skin may not like or be able to use this for things they will grip with their hands 🙌🏻, but it can still be used to make things like stairs, walkways, etc, much safer, by making them slip resistant. We just got this- and like it so far. If for some reason, this tape doesn’t stick as well as it should, or seems to not last as long at it should, I will try to edit this review to let you all know.     • Does what it's designed to do

We have an older dog who can no longer jump on/off our bed. I built her a ramp so that she can easily climb up and down and covered the top with a low pile carpet. The carpet proved to be somewhat slippery and made it difficult for her to walk up. I decided to replace the carpet with something that offered a higher coefficient of friction and decided on grip tape. The ramp is about 6-feet in length, and I ended up using four strips applied lengthwise on the ramp. The ramp is 20" wide so one had to be trimmed a few inches. Our dog now has no trouble walking up and down the ramp and she's a lot more comfortable doing so. The tape sticks very well and I applied it by peeling a small area off one end and lined up the strip. When I was satisfied with the position, I stuck the exposed end and then slowly removed the backing while pressing the tape to the ramp. I am completely satisfied with this grip tape and I'm now looking for other applications. Great value for it's intended use. ... show more
