If you’re doubtful whether to get it or not based on reviews, get it! My detailed review: I was skeptical after seeing few reviews saying it doesn’t sit properly or is not sturdy etc, considering it’s expensive on top of that, but after scouring all the golden grid organizers sold on Amazon (yeah all of them! I had to get the best for my money, Duhh!) Because, few were small just for pens n stuff, not big enough to hold books, few were functionally not meeting my requirements like pens falling off into other compartments, or no tray just file holders etc etc, this was the only one I found accommodating all of my needs and I bought it though it was 35$ when I was buying it! It came in today, I assembled in a minute and I m loving it! I don’t regret it but it’s definitely over priced and I m might also need to spray paint in couple years although I m a gentle person! Also reviews saying it’s not sitting properly are ones that installed it reverse! Took down one star coz of the price, no complaints with the product! But so many similar products are on the same price range, when I know it doesn’t cost that much to make ‘em! ... show more

Like many school age kids, my daughter was forced to participate in distance learning during the pandemic. She actually found that it was more to her liking than physically attending school so she has continued schooling from home. One of the more annoying obstacles to this was the amount of materials she had to manage without the benefit of a locker or moving to different classrooms. Her desk in her room became something of a cluttered mess... We ordered this for her to help organize her workspace and it has really helped. The multiple tiers allow for more efficient use of space and keep her documents out of the way when not in use. A handy pen/pencil holder contains any writing utensils she might need easy to access. It was simple to assemble and plenty sturdy enough to safely hold her books and papers. I can see this rack being useful not only for school, but for work as well.
