To preface this review: I got this mat for use at my standing desk while my office floor is a hard tile flooring. I have experience with 4 other standing mats, so while not extensive, I have some experience with a small variety of standing mats. I'm a slightly overweight individual at 220Lbs, so your experience may vary if you are on the lighter side. This mat definitely helps with my leg fatigue and slightly for my back pain, but did nothing for my feet. The cushioning is a very soft memory foam-like material, which would be great in theory, but my heels and balls of my feet sink right through to the floor underneath while bare foot. It likely works great for kitchen use if you're moving around a bit, or washing dishes for shorter periods of time, but it really doesn't provide the needed support for hours of standing in one place as you would for a standing desk while working. It's thicker than many other standing mats on the market which is likely what provides the leg and back fatigue relief, but because of how soft the material is, it defeats the purpose for foot pain / fatigue. Wearing shoes significantly helps, likely due to the larger area of pressure distribution combined with the extra padding from the shoe's insoles. But, working from home 8+ hours per day, I'm not trying to be wearing shoes the entire time. All-in-all, it's not a bad standing mat. It's a little too soft, but the extra padding definitely provides some level of comfort to an extent. With that said, I ordered a firmer / springier mat that's on the way, and will be moving this one to the kitchen sink as soon as my new one comes in for the office desk. ... show more

I was looking for a burgundy anti fatigue kitchen run. Pretty hard to find that color. I saw this one and it had good reviews. One review said it is not RED it is burgundy so I bought it. You can see from my pictures it is not RED but it is not burgundy either or my original burgundy rug is just really really dark burgundy. The second picture shows it with a rug with multiple shades of red. Since it is not a bright cherry RED I am ok with it I think it coordinates well. My only other option was to go to a totally different color like black and I did not want to do that. It is also very soft on my feet but still supportive. I like it. I hope I have help others if they are wondering about the color of the red rug. It is very nice. ... show more

I use this in front of my kitchen sink. It's holding up well so far. Only issue is pet hair does accumulate and show on it as I have the black mat, but other than that, it's very comfortable for my feet and legs.

The media could not be loaded. We bought these mats 6 weeks ago and they have been great - until now. Oddly, one of them seems to have started disintegrating today. There seems to be a small tear on the underside, and 2/3 of the mat is oozing a foamy liquid when we stand on it. The liquid smells like rubber. There's no leak on our floor (or snag to tear it) - this is coming directly from the mat and the rest of the mats are fine. It has to be some kind of strange manufacturing defect. I wish we could get a replacement because the product is otherwise great. ... show more

So for clarity, this mat is not 4 inches thick as noted in the description. I purchased this to go along with my stand up desk. It's comfortable and I'm happy with it.

My back used to hurt when I stood at the sink washing dishes or peeling eggs. This mat has surprisingly solved that problem. It is soft and thick. With the thickness it took me a day to learn not to trip over it. I left it out in the sun as instructed to remove the creases from shipping.
