This light does the job, but dont expect it to light up the bed like a good quality white LED will. I had previously upgraded my bed lights and they did a very good job of illuminating my truck bed, these not so much. The light itself looks very nice, much better than stock, but Im not sure Ill keep it on due to the low light output from the white LEDs.     • Nicely bright replacement!
Only problem I had was getting a 30 year old Ford connector unplugged. My impression (and my wifes') was that this brake light is nicely bright. Other reviewers may have thought they were dim and maybe the manufacturer upgraded the LEDs. I don't know. The light side of the connector was an exact fit with the 1993 Ford connector. A fitted foam pad is included. You may want to pencil mark the position of the old light before removal. I chose to use the "peel and stick" side on the truck cab. I did add a bit of clear silicone sealant on the light side and around the top after install. I found the original screws fit just tight enough in the light holes to need threading into the plastic, which I like. Just hold the light against the truck as you tighten down. All good here and I feel lucky to find this light. Don't know if it'll last 30 years, but someone else can deal with that. ... show more

Had no problems swapping it out in a 2004 f250. It's bright and the white cargo lights are much brighter than what the old factory light had. It's literally like the difference between night and day when looking inside the cargo bed in the dark. 5 stars.

I bought a used 2008 F350 and ended up finding out that the third brake light was broken on the light mount behind it. This was a GREAT replacement. It looks really good but I do feel it could be a little brighter. Some of the other ones that I have seen seem to be a little brighter than this one. But it is a great replacement option that won't make you feel like you are breaking the bank. ... show more
