The tapes are pretty, many with gold & silver highlites, but the colors are much darker than they looked when seeing them on line. Nearly all are very wide as expected but also have some coordinating tapes that are much narrower. Wish the box had a standard lift off lid instead of the sliding sleeve style. It would be easier to access the tapes. Would probably not buy again as I use the tapes to make unique bookmarks. As pretty as the box was, I found the sliding lid inconvenient to use but didn’t want to destroy the lid. So, I slit the bottom of the lid along the seam line and adhered it to the box bottom with double-sided craft tape. I then added a folded piece of ribbon to the center back of the upper section of the lid with a piece of the double-sided tape. So now, I can just grab the ribbon to lift the lid for quick, easy access to the tapes inside the box. And the Washi tapes stay clean. Should the ribbon become worn or soiled it can easily be replaced.

For the price and the amount of tapes you receive I was afraid they would be not very high-quality, or they would not be clearly printed. I was very nicely surprised. These tapes are beautiful and there is plenty on each roll. The quality of the materials used to make them high-quality. I get compliments on my journals when I use the tapes.
