I tend to buy these to adapt to head bands to help head bands stay on. I don’t wear wigs. I would think that like head bands, to get these elastic bands to stay on, it’s best to add a silicone or other product on the elastic to stay in place. I think these could adapt to a number of uses, but for the head and so they don’t slip back on the hair - a nonslip substance on the band is required. Right now like this, they slip on me.
