Game changer for our busy warehouse We've been running this ELAFROS cart hard in our shipping department for the past four months, and honestly, I didn't expect this level of durability at this price point. The 500 pound capacity isn't just marketing speak. We routinely load it with glass bottles totaling around 300 to 400 pounds, and the cart glides across our concrete floor without any flex or wobbling. The plastic is genuinely thick and industrial grade, not the flimsy stuff you see on cheaper alternatives like the basic wire rack carts that bend under half the weight. Assembly took about 30 minutes with a rubber mallet, and the instructions were actually clear. The three shelves measure roughly 6 inches deep each, which is perfect for stacking multiple rows of product without worrying about items tipping over the edge. Those 4 inch swivel casters with the TPR coating make a massive difference. We were previously using a similar sized cart from a big box store that had hard plastic wheels, and the noise was unbearable plus it left scuff marks everywhere. These wheels roll quietly and the two locking brakes actually hold firm even when fully loaded. The 32.4 by 18.3 inch footprint fits perfectly through our standard doorways and between our pallet racks where a 34 inch cart would be constantly bumping into things. We measured and confirmed the overall height at 36 inches, which lets our shorter team members access the top shelf without straining. The spacing between shelves is adjustable during assembly if you need more vertical clearance for taller items. One minor thing to note is that the shelves have a slight lip around the edges, about half an inch, which is great for containing smaller items but means you'll need to lift boxes slightly when loading rather than sliding them on. Also, while the cart arrived well packaged with thick cardboard and foam corners protecting each piece, one of the shelf connectors had a small cosmetic scratch that doesn't affect function at all. Compared to the Rubbermaid commercial carts that cost nearly double, this ELAFROS holds up just as well for our daily warehouse abuse. Rarely ever write product reviews. You kind of just expect products to work, so they get delivered and you go on about your day; however, I felt compelled to compliment this unit. It's super easy to put together and even comes with a Rubber Hammer (I was shocked). It also came with a totally functional tool to use with the four screws (yep, only four). This unit is STRONG!! I fully believe the weight limits posted. I run a small detail business at my home and after putting this together, totally loading it up with my supplies, I immediately ordered another. I was hesitant to buy this, because of the low number of reviews, but I'm glad I did. The plastic is thick, dense, and rigid, and I expect to get many years of use out of it. It also goes together very quickly with the included tools, which aren't Knipex, but are perfectly adequate for the job. I occasionally use a cane which limits my ability to carry multiple, heavy or bulky items throughout the house. This cart, which is very well-made, allows me to save trips. Grocery orders delivered by Whole Foods or Fresh are usually about 5 bags. Instead of making 5 trips from the front porch I now make one. As the items are un-bagged I then use the cart to distribute the groceries to the walk-in, now "drive in," pantry. I should have gotten this years ago when I still had the use of both hands. It's a HUGE time saver. Your house is like a grocery store: This is your "shopping" cart. Assembly was easy with a mallet and wrench supplied in the package. The cart is very sturdy, rolls easily and, unlike a steel cart, it's super-quiet when rolling. An included cup-holder and tray can be attached to the side. An optional power strip is also available.
