I was very tempted to give this product 3 stars because the assembling process was a little frustrating to me. I do find many instructions hard to figure out, but I did have help in this case and it still took forever to figure out how to set up the bassinet, more specifically how and where to insert the support tubes. The zipper is very tricky once you get to the corner and it feels like it might break because of the sharp angle. I managed to zip the liner properly, with no issues, but I'm not sure whether doing this regularly won't result in a broken zipper. The first part of the assembly wasn't exactly easy either. Instructions are not very clear and it is not easy to lock all four top rails. It requires some effort and maybe 2 people to hold on to it. I like the triple functionality - play yard, bassinet, changing table, and the fact that it can be folded for easy storage or travel. The toy set and the side storage are nice little extras. The quality is comparable to name-brand similar products. It appears to be well-made and there is no weird smell.

This pack-n-play folds and unfolds exactly like the standard ones from brand names every parent is familiar with. The mattress is the same size as the brand-named pack-n-play so any foam tops or fitted sheets will fit fine. It has a nice zippered door for easy access when the baby begins crawling or walking. The changing “table” was easy to assemble and easy to securely snap onto the top rails of the pack-n-play. Once installed, there is little chance of accidently coming off while in use. Although a parent would probably want to only have it attached when needed and not all the time. Placing the changing table on the pack-n-play top frame takes a little effort as the plastic clamps are very tight, but also means that it will not accidentally come off while in use. The mobile is adequate for a portable unit, as with similar mobiles for pack-n-play play yards. It snaps securely on the top rail when in use and easily disassembles for transport or long-term storage. The mobile toys attach just like named brand pack-n-plays where a knot is made in the end of the string, then the string is slipped into the support frame. The biggest problem I had with the product was the bassinet insert. The support rods fit nicely into the sleeves and are easy to assemble in place. The issue is the bassinet portion is zippered to the pack-n-play frame and the zipper goes around the corners in a continuous run. Getting the zipper to zip on an inside corner is often difficult to do when ensuring that you do not break it. Additionally, it came partially zippered to the pack-n-play making it more difficult to assemble. Since the bassinet attached to the pack-n-play via a continuous zipper on three sides, zipping it around the inside corner was not an easy thing to do. The zipper wanted to bind and it took quite a bit of maneuvering to get it zipped all the way around to end. Once the bassinet is zippered, it appears to be strong enough to handle an infant’s weight that would normally be in a bassinet. However, a parent should not be fooled by the size and tempt to put an infant in the bassinet once they reach an age where a bassinet is no longer safe (probably when they begin to turn over on their own). A normal sized bassinet is an indicator of when to move them out, but this oversized one may make the parent want to keep them in it longer. Overall, this is a nice pack-n-play that rolls easily, has plenty of toy or accessory storage and packs away nicely for transport. The attachment of the bassinet is the only negative, but since this is typically a one and done assembly, it does not impact my rating.

I was pleasantly surprised when I unpacked this pack of play. It seems much sturdier than those of the past, and it has several improvements - while all packing into the same compactable box. To begin with the overall feel is much more secure while still giving a comfortable overall feel. It gives me confidence that the little one will be safe when playing alone or with friends. The padding all over is also improved over my last version. Additionally, it has wheels on one side of the carrier and stands on the other side. This makes it easy to maneuver and move from place to place. It also has a zipper gate down on the bottom part. This allows your child to crawl in and out at his will if you'd like him to. Or you can zip it from the outside and lock him in. On the downside - the hinges are just as hard as ever to get secure. You must have the right angle and the right force to snap it into place and then the same to unsnap it. For me this is an acceptable trade off for such a great product. This pack and play and the improvement they've made is definitely a 5-star product

This is a nice pack n play to have on hand for people like us who don't have babies in the house but, at times, we do have company who needs a place for a baby to sleep, nap, change, etc. This is perfect for that. It might not be as nice or fancy as a permanent unit for everyday use. I will say the diaper changing platform is on the weak side. For sure you are not leaving a baby on that any longer than it takes to change a diaper. But I do think it is really great for travel or guests.
