I fly and occasionally crash foam RC aircraft from Horizon Hobby (E-flite). In the past I reinforced the fuselages with fiberglass tape such as used for drywall. I now attach a carbon fiber bar down each side of the fuselage with Foam-Tac. The aesthetics are better and the planes are still crash resistant. I have (unintentionally) nosedived an upgraded Horizon Hobby Conscendo into the turf and it lived to fly again. ... show more

These were purchased for a scratch build RC project. Although the tolerances are acceptable, one of them was twisted ( didn't lay flat), but that shouldn't affect most situations. If you're like me you get a little giddy when you order carbon fiber pieces :-) thank you Amazon!
