When our nearly 20 year old oven that came with our house broke between Thanksgiving and Christmas we were scrambling to try to come up with nearly $2K for a replacement. Happily we stumbled across Thermomate's products and were able to get a new oven very quickly without breaking the bank! Upon reading some reviews I was hesitant to be super trusting of the product at first, building in lots of extra cooking time to make sure everything I served was fully cooked. We have been cooking now for over 3 weeks through Christmas and New Year holidays and have had no issues! I'm very pleased with the oven so far. The only complaint I have is that some of the settings such as "Broil" and "Bake" seem opposite from standard big name ovens. If you purchase this oven, be sure to read the description of each setting so you know what to use for your cooking/baking needs. The dials are also a little unconventional but we have gotten a lot of compliments on the look of the oven many saying it looks European. ... show more

We purchased as replacements in a rental house. We had size limits to deal with. This oven fits the bill without having to replace the cabinets and gas. Can't almost get a gas appliance in Kailf, (how stupid) After install did some tests, Had to adj the temp controller (with a $6 oven temp gauge) A problem I did not expect. Tenants are very happy with the unit. This is not a unit I would put in My house (there are better and bigger ones out there) but good for Rental. ... show more

I really like the look of this product. It fit nearly perfectly in the existing 24” cabinet and the electrical connection was fairly easy, but you do need to hook in the pigtail supplied and wire it into your 220V line - it’s not a plug. It heated quickly to do the initial burn off of the surface oils. The controls are easy for me but not so much for my very elderly mom. They are a bit odd, particularly with the right timer/on knob that can turn the oven off when the timer dings. We won’t use that feature, just leave it in the on position and turn the oven on or off with the middle knob. She had a hard time turning the large knobs, but this shouldn’t be a problem for most. Her big complaint was that that there was only one baking rack supplied but two roasting pans she will never use. I’ve contacted the manufacturer about getting another rack. In the end she was able to turn the middle knob to “bake” and adjust the temp as needed. Great value for the money and nice clean modern looks. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is very nice for the money. The only thing I don’t like is when it reaches the desired temperature it doesn’t “ding”. Nor does it have all the temperatures marked on the dial, like example 325 degrees I had to dial it between 300 & 350. It doesn’t heat up like a gas oven, so it cooks slow.
