When faced with the daunting task of finding my beloved mother's final resting vessel I was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Do I pay the seemingly exorbitant coinage my local funeral home was asking for their peddled goods or do I go the cheap route and find something myself. It didn't take long to deliberate. Dear mother died suddenly and left me without an inheritance so off to Amazon I went. I figured I would find some kind of receptacle that would do. It's just dust, after all. Her ethereal presence had long since departed, leaving her desiccated, brittle, oven-charred remains behind. That's when I found the Large Urns for Adult Male Female Ashes, Up to 220 lbs Decorative Cremation Urn for Human Ashes (Sunflower) on yon Amazon. It is a beautiful teal color, emblazoned with a sunflower and monarch butterfly and a very poetic (albeit grammatically incorrect) saying. I snatched it up as quick as I could and luckily I got it the same day as I picked up ma from the barbecuer.... Erm... Crematorium. I was slightly worried that one may confuse it with a handleless sport cup, but as long as we keep it away from the kitchen, we should be ok. After some finagling, I finally managed to pour Mom's mortal remains into the extra wide pour spout and affixed the lid uponst the top. She's now nicely secured and has made a 200 plus mile trip with narry a particle of dust out of place. Two thumbs way up.
