Awesome coin great to gift to a child. Or in my case to save for a rainy day. Rainy days do come and having a stash of silver is an awesome safety net to combat hard times. It is a beautiful coin in a great case. I wanted the coin as it is my understanding that the reverse side with the eagle is going to change in the middle of this year and this will be the last of the Heraldic Eagle series. "Two reverse types of American Eagle silver dollars will be issued in 2021, one with the current Heraldic Eagle design and the second with a new eagle landing design." Theis are great for collecting, gifting and investing because of the silver content. Now here's what some people fail to understand the difference between a Proof and uncirculated is well in the finish one has a mirror finish and the other does not. Proof coins come with a COA, uncirculated does not to my knowledge but rather it does or does not you'll know it's pure silver. ... show more

    • Exactly What I needed.
It was a gold coin I used to give to my first salute. I had no need for a certified paper (other reviews talk about lack of paperwork.) It came with a plastic protective case as well as a nice display case. Overall, a no frills product. Loved it.
