First, the instructions are in French and, even with Google translate, are useless and incomplete. The pieces that I received are different from those pictured on Amazon and two leg pieces were missing. What looked like a fun game is simply wooden junk pieces and a waste of money. Don't buy it.

I paid a bit more for this product than what competitors were asking because I wanted it to arrive swiftly. It did not. Rather than shipping it with Prime 2-day, it took over a week to ship out, missing our grandson's visit. Once it did arrive, the assembly took an unreasonable amount of time because, although it was not mentioned in the listing, the directions are in French. Using a translator, two years of "rusty" college French, and pictures, I was able to assemble the fighting figures. The game itself will probably be a hit, but this customer is disappointed!

I probably spent an HOUR just trying to get the string through the bottom hole for the leg. This is the most shoddily made thing I've ever bough off amazon. I ended up painting it myself because the raw wood looked just terrible. It still looks unfinished, but a little better.

I belong to a martial arts school that includes sword training. I got this for a party we were having and they had a great time with it. Do not give this to a bunch of millennials without expecting shenanigans.

I can't deny that there are quality issues with this product. The wood is finished well enough to not cause splinters, but also isn't hard enough to last when constantly rubbed together at the joints. Other than the quality this game is a ton of fun. We draw faces on our balloons, spar off with some fighting words, and then fight. The size of the balloon makes a huge difference in the game, for more of a challenge make them just a little bigger than a golf ball (they won't pop nearly as easily). Now, my biggest concern is definitely the safety. The sticks that control the puppets are not long enough. Even when holding them at the very end, the provided needle can still reach the fingers of you or your opponent. We're all older and are careful, but this could be a big problem for anyone trying to play with children or aggressive/competitive people. As mentioned above, switching the needle for a toothpick does make it a little safer, but not enough for small hands. In addition to the reach issue, there is also the fact that there is nothing to keep the base still, not even rubber feet. To solve this we use a clamp to hold the base down to the table. Gluing it down to a larger board could also work. Other reviewers have mentioned that the instructions aren't in English, but mine were. For those who don't receive instructions, you simply run the elastic through the pieces to build the man and tie them on the bottom. You can adjust the tension of the body by pulling tighter, or keep it looser for easier movements. I personally prefer more tension. Then, slide the provided needles (or, for more safety, some wooden toothpicks) into the holes at the end of the hand. Then blow up the balloon and slide it into the cavity on the shoulders. To be honest, despite everything, I still love this game. We get a lot of laughs out of it.

Poorly made. Instructions came in French, I don't speak French. Found the instructions back here in the listing, UT they're utterly rubbish. I got it together, but, if you're selling mass quantities, at least take some time to make it easier for your customers.
