The first things I look for when buying EVO is the harvest date and a dark bottle. Olive oil is not like wine it doesn't get better with age. Olive oil is prone to oxidation so the dark bottle and fresh harvest is very important. The quality of this olive oil is amazing. I can actually taste the fruit. I enjoy pouring it over my freshly cooked meats for added flavor.

The Laconian Legacy Greek Olive Oil is exactly what I have been looking for. I saw this company featured on a cooking show on PBS and was thrilled to find it on Amazon. The fragrance and flavors are fresh, fruity, and peppery…adding a wonderful Mediterranean touch to my salads, bread dip, and pasta recipes. I recently received my purchase of Laconian Legacy EVOO. I did a lot of research on-line and at Amazon for a high phenolic olive oil that taste good. This oil definitely met my requirement for high polyphenols and I was pleasantly surprised how good the olive flavor is. For a premium oil from Greece, the price was not bad either.
