Let me start by saying this is just as good as the 2022 based on my limited experience. I was waiting for the 2022 to replace my 2016 11ch pro. When the 2022 came up this was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. I am not cheap with tech so I was willing to pay the extra to ha e the latest and greatest but after many hours of reviews and looking through things they are the same basically with minor changes that unless you are uniquely going to use them will make no difference. Obviously there us the m1 v m2 thing. That was what worried me but essentially this is a high end tablet low end laptop. The m1 is overkill for most use cases already. If I'm wrong in the future I'll take the L. If tings were equal I'd take the m2. If the price was $100 difference I'd pay it but this was much more. The other thing was the hover pencil. Not impressed. My Samsung does that it's not that night of a deal to me and I don't draw on this so did not effect me. What I will say is the battery drains. My 11in pro goes weeks without seeing a charger based on my use and sitting in standby. This drains with a bit of use. If you are a heavy user keep a charger near by that is my take away. With the 11 I can use it a few days and then need to charge. This lasts maybe a day or so. Take that for what it's worth. ... show more

Ok, so just to give some context, I'm a professional Illustrator, I usually work with Wacom Cintiq 13 HD, but I decided to take the plunge and try the Ipad Pro with the apple pencil and Procreate, which I started using 3-4 weeks ago. The good: -The machine is very powerful, it holds several applications open at once. -The combo Ipad-Apple pencil is amazing, the pencil feels very smooth. -I love Apples already included software, like numbers or Garage Band. -The Screen (inner side)! I don't know if I'm blind or just not used to nuances, but I don't see blooming anywhere. -I love the speakers, it makes the Ipad vibrate, so if I'm drawing I can feel the vibration. Still has amazing sound. The bad: -Apple is asking for your ID all the time. Literally. -And (if you did like me and changed your ID right after the initial setup) you will have to be juggling from one ID to another in order to Update the included apps. -The Updates (I'm looking at you IOS 16) are a pain. Some programs keep crashing since this update or behaving abnormally. -Almost every app is paid, but hey, I come from Android/Windows. -I don't know if it's the new Updates but I have some issues with procreate and the graphic card (especially after updating to IOS 16. Yay.). The Meh: -Stage manager (I rather have the standard window setup). -The battery. It handles Procreate/Spotify/Reference board app open for 5 hours, so I need to charge it every day, especially if I keep drawing a lot. -The screen (outer side) 2 words: FINGERPRINTS GALORE, although humid microfiber cloth works like a charm. Overall, the machine is wonderful, but Apple is its main issue. I can use the Ipad for some productive tasks (like invoicing, emailing, record keeping, or using the calendar), but it's quite difficult to be working on Procreate for several hours (or even using Safari) when it crashes or has some weird bugs because of an update. Despite of that, I still love this machine, but I would love for them to take their users seriously since this is an expensive piece of hardware. ... show more

The battery life is easily the best thing about this tablet. It lasts FOREVER even under heavy use. Everything else is great or fine, and there's no need covering it all. I've had no technical issues with it whatsoever. The only complaint has to do with the screen. I notice it flex ever so slightly with the pencil. It doesn't harm anything or affect what I'm doing, but it does make it feel a little fragile. And when drawing with a black background, you can see the micro-LED panels light up (not sure how to explain it but when you see it you'll know). Even still, they're minor issues that barely affect anything. Still a very good buy that I'd recommend! ... show more

It’s a great performing device but the 12.9” is prob too big and heavy for most. I typically use the iPad for movie, YouTube and light playing with my gotcha games. The ipad Air would prob be just as good. Coming from the regular iPad 6th gen so some apps not able to use and crashes which is why I needed a new one. I got the 12.9” because the screen looked better then the 11”, it’s significantly brighter but I’m one of those ppl who use it before bed and in the dark so a bright screen isn’t all that useful so the 11” would’ve been just fine. You only need the bright screen when there’s a lot light or using this outside. If you need a 12.9” or large screen with magic keyboard, just get a laptop. It’ll actually be cheaper too. Not returning it though. I don’t buy these things often and certain not year after year. Apple products at least last a long time and the Pro models don’t look like they will be outdated any time soon ... show more
