  • Use hairspray to get the artificial nail tips to stay on
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
This is my first trainer and I'm going to be applying for my Nail school in January. The nails do pop off fairly easily but once you learn how to work around it no big deal. The hardest thing for me was getting the tips to stay on the nail. I could not get them to stay on no matter how much glue I use or how long I held the tip on. I saw a girl on YouTube use a spray that helps glue dry faster I know that hair sprayDoes the same thing so I sprayed got2b on a cotton ball And rub some on the nail then glued the tip on. Once the tip was on I added a little extra glue at the base of the tip and they worked perfectly! I'm so glad I figured this out because I would've not even been able to use the thing for practicing acrylic tips ... show more

  • LOVE THIS !!
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
I am a beginner , these pictures below are nails I did last night , & that was literally my first time touching acrylic. This practice hand is so neat I love it. It’s durable & I had no problems with the nails coming off at all ! Definitely recommend !

  • If the nail fall off dont give up!
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
I love this hand! If the fake nails fall off its most likely because the fake finger tip is not pushed on all the way (as you can see in some of the negative review photos)! In the beginning I was so frustrated because the nail on 1 of the fingers kept falling off so easily but I realized it was because the fake skin wasnt as pushed on as much as the other ones. Once I pushed it on, the nail stayed position. Hope this helped ... show more

  • It doesn’t fall off easy, cause it doesn’t go in easy
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
I love this hand, the nails are a bit challenging to insert but I rather struggle to put them on then trying to keep them in. The last I got was crap, the whole finger wasn’t trying to stay on. It’s been almost a week of me using it and I’m in love. I removed the flesh cause it kept slipping. The nail does slide occasionally but that’s usually when I’m filling aggressively. The nails that doesn’t go in easily, I just filed down slightly and it pops right in. Don’t file too much cause it will slip out! Great for practicing! You will need to dehydrate the hell out of the nail to keep the tips glued. ... show more

  • Can’t complain
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
The media could not be loaded. Honestly this is probably the best thing next to a real hand. I’ve had it for about 2 weeks now. It moves very easily and the fingers don’t get in the way when trying to work on a single finger. Sometimes the finger will pop out from the top knuckle area but you can just pop it back on. The tips stay on perfectly and sit tight. Trying to glue tips onto this, can be a little tiring. The only thing I wish is that the tips came in more sizes ... show more

  • NOT A FAN!
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
This was OOOOKKKKK. I really don't understand the point of using so mismatched colors together, it's makes it ugly in photographs and the super dark pop in/out nail beds are even darker, it's simply UGLY. WHY NOT MAKE THIS ALL ONE COLOR?! At least make the nail tips a REAL nailbed color! Even a good practice nail is horrendous looking because of how dark the nail beds are. I've been doing nails since 2004 and I was hoping this would be great for making display and art nails... FALSE HOPES. Practicing technique is about all this is good for and even then the silicone fingers slip and slide off the hand, sticky paper forms essential for sculpting don't stick AT ALL, even after etching, it's hard getting a plastic tip to adhere with ANY kind of glue and the nails themselves DO pop off while handling. I've put it back in the box, and that's where it will stay. ... show more

  • Sturdy, well packed, overal awesome!
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
Im beyond excited over this practice hand. I find it so hard to get people for application practice during the times i can practice and this solves that issue. This came very well packaged it can easily be wraped as a present if needed. The hand feels sturdy but flexible enough to manipulate without straining. I readbreviews of nails poping off so it was one of the first things I checked and yes it looks like they do hold on. (Video for refrence) one nail did pop off but i was forcing it pretty hard. Overal I'm please about this purchase. I can't wait to practice. Update* i've been using this hand all week its amazing. I love how flexible the fingers are and how realistically you can hold the hand. And the nails can be changed and start a new set whenever. Fyi the nails are sturdy. Obviously as with actual human nails hold the base of the nailbed as you file. You can hurt someone if you just strait file without suporting. In this case the nail is sturdy but if you are rough with it they will pop off. ... show more

  • Nails DO come off
Pattern Name: Practice Hand
So for the money I think it's a great deal, I'd rather get this until I can afford to get something better. I don't have anyone to practice in and it takes way too long to practice in myself so this does exactly what I want it to do. It says it's been updated so nails don't come off but they do lol. I have to make sure I grip the finger pretty tight while giving it a little push bacwarfs while filing or even usik g the drill so the nail doesn't come off. Also, the nail forms don't stick on as well in these so you have to becateful with that. They don't come off right away but they do tend to slip off after a short while. Besides that I mean you're definitely getting what you paid for. ... show more
