I had to give my cat steroids twice a day for seven days and then once a day for seven days and then every other day for seven days and I really needed accuracy, cause steroids have to be given exactly as prescribed. My cat had to have .34 mL in the syringe and the markings were easy to read and the product was easy to use. I recommend anyone who has animals to have at least a pack of these around as an emergency or if they have to dissolve medication and administer it orally. ... show more

I do like these a lot. These come in a large pack, and they even come with their own storage ziplock bag with caps for the syringes. They are good quality, and clear markings, and look durable and accurate. The plunger slides easily and doesnt stick as bad, like other syringes do after you wash them. I suppose this is due to the unique plastic tip on the plunger. However, it is hard to gauge how to measure accurately due to that said plastic tip on the plunger. It is a unique shape and protrudes downward towards the tip in a cone like shape. Because of this piece It's hard to tell how you should be accurately measuring. ie- Do you pull the plunger up to the measure line where the flat base of that tip hits the measurement line? Or should you pull it more towards where the tip hits the measurement line? I don't know! It doesn't come with instructions to explain this or how to accurately measure with these, so I just kind of had to.... guess. That is a little nerve wracking when you are measuring medication for very small animals and the dosing has to be precise. In other syringes the tip of the plunger is FLAT. And you know that you pull the plunger to match up to the measurement line. Itś obviously clear. Like I said, with these, the tip is shaped into a kind of long cone like shape. Fluid fills around that shape. So some of it goes to the top/base of that shape where you would expect a plunger to be flat. But then there is a big piece taking up space inside the syringe that tapers to a point. Itś very strange. It does also leak a little if you bump or shake the syringe at all. Those are my only two complaints. Iḿ sure that if they came with instructions on how to properly measure with these they would be perfectly fine. Itś just a little confusing. And I dont feel completely comfortable having to play a the guessing game. But like I said, other then that they are really great and I like how they come with caps and the storage bag. And the plunger doesnt stick as bad to the syringe after being washed like other syringes do. ... show more

I used these syringes to collect colostrum, and they were absolutely perfect! They store easily in the freezer, and the caps make them super easy to use without any spills. I honestly wish I would’ve ordered more.
