The metal surface area that should hold pins magnetically is large but the actual area that will magnetize is centralized in a very small an area holding only a few straight pins and can easily fly off when moving your wrist around. Great addition to my sewing supplies. I Love this product ! 100% Better than a wrist pin cushion. Arm band is AWESOME. Device stays in place wonderfully. I love the way I can take it off and "magically" pick up dropped pins. I highly recommend this product.

Kids ripped it out right away so I had to use some e6000 to put it back together. Very handy to put my needles and the cuff fits comfortably. Like that I had 2 for a decent price.
