These fit straight out of the box with no alterations needed. They replaced the front tires and wheels on my craftsman 48 inch wide lawn tractor. One of my OEM tires went flat, and it was just as easy and cost-effective to buy brand new tires and wheels than to repair the flat. My lawn tractor is 10 years old and I figure the cost for these two brand new tires, tubes, and wheels was definitely worth it. I gave it four stars instead of five because they did not come with the adapters for a smaller axle. I did not need the adapters, but not supplied as advertised. ... show more
