I think this cord will last longer than my other chargers. I have a bad habit of bending cords right at the neck and exposing the wires. The 1-yr warranty and the "guarantee" to work for up to 3.1A fast charging are a key selling point leading to the 5-star rating. So far, the cable is performing as advertised. Time will tell as these items often fail without warning within a few weeks of first use. Word to the wise: don't try to bend the cable too much. The cable is a bit stiff for a good reason. If you feel you're "working" to get the cable to fold, wrap, or bend, you're putting too much pressure on it and can damage the wires inside. The cables come folded and fastened by a velcro strap. The bend in the cable as shipped is about as acute an angle as you'll want to fold it. (Approx. 2-2.5cm diameter) The cable will have a tendency to self-wrap, like a garden hose. The user will have a tendency to try to pull it straight. Doing this merely causes the fold to tighten and will cause the cable to fold too far and will cause it to break inside. If your use case requires sharp angles or folds, consider these physical constraints. ... show more

These cords were replacing the standard round cord chargers. I would wrap them up loosely to tuck them away when not in use. Over time they started getting curly and worn out and never really laid flat. These feel like a thick durable shoelace almost. Much easier to fold and keep tidy. Did a lot of research of these, or so I thought. From the looks of it, appears to be a great looking cable, with the potential to be very durable. Well, this was a 2 pack, and neither cable works. 1 cable won't register, or charge, at all. The other, if I flip it over, it charges, but "slow charges" so it's pretty much useless. They both seem to fit in the port well, as I've seen many complain about them falling out easy. I have an S8+, and I tried multiple adapters, QC 2.0, QC 3.0, standard, apple charger, etc., with the same results on all. I was just kinda surprised, so I wanted to make sure it wasn't something finicky like it HAD to be a specific adapter. I tried different car chargers as well. Got these based on the very nice advertising for them lol, I guess they got me. Also, noticed while going through the 5 star reviews, that a lot of people are somehow review totally different looking cables, so that's why I wanted to leave a picture. Others I've seen are of a grey cable, so there's really no honest way of knowing how good these cables really are. Feel like I got suckered, but, in the off chance that I just got a double pack of bad cables, maybe the others won't be? I'm doubtful. Never seen a cable look and feel like it's very good, and good quality, but not even work. I'm thinking it's design just may not work with S8 type phones, because a lot of bad reviews seem to also be with those phones? Will update review to let you know how the process goes of getting money back, or different cables, and if the different cables work, along with the sellers handling of the situation. The quality is excellent to be honest. There is a Velcro strap attached to store the cord easily. Did my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 perfectly. Both cords are the same durable material. I just unboxed and must say I'm impressed.

This USB cable is better than it looks in pictures. The connectors are very well made. Sexy smooth satin metal design and have a solid feel to them. The cable is also flat and comes with a Velcro strap which makes it easy to store. I like most of all the customer service behind this product. I was surprised to learn that these cords are "flat" cords, which was a nice bonus. they are also very sturdy and attractive. the added cord strap is just icing on the cake. Perhaps the only trade off is that to get that solid connection, these are quite long connectors, but i dont mind. they are quite pliable and will last a long time i think. ... show more
