Product gets one star for being foam in the approximate shape of the case. That's where the positivity ends though. The foam layers are solvent welded together, not glued, so you can't easily peel out only the layers you want to set the depth of a cutout. The outside edge also retracts in near the middle layers, and is only the appropriate size for the case when viewed from the top or bottom. This means you're edges have less protection, and in my case only leaving about 1/2” meant I blew through the side and ruined the foam. I can not recommend this, it's complete junk. You'd be better off buying a yoga mat and cutting it to fit with a butter knife. I've used dozens of foam inserts, some from name brands and some for no name. This is by far the worst I've had the displeasure of experiencing.

Your basic closed cell foam inserts for the packout small medium depth case. Good fit, not too many or too large gaps, and slips under the case front tongue, some foams don't bother. Hard to saw anything eitherway regarding the quality of foam, its not overly rigid nor too soft for decent protection. It does it's job as expected, tho I do wish the laminations separated easier. My 1 complaint, it's too shallow, but otherwise well designed to fit the packout. When I say too shallow, I mean its a good inch below the case lip, for a second I thought well maybe it could fit the small short packout, nope, no chance unless you split this in half...and as said before, the laminations do not split easily nor cleanly. It's priced what I would expect, tho you could diy for less., but what's your time worth?

These foam inserts worked pretty well although I didn't use them for a Milwaukee pack out. I cut them down for some cases I already had and they worked well enough. However, the only way to make "pockets" is to cut all the way through the foam, pull it out then trim it the thickness and place it back in the hole. Trying to pull pieces of the foam out is an absolute disaster. I will say that I feel anything I put in this foam will be well protected, just know it's going to take a little work to get it to look like you want it too. Price is decent so worth a shot especially if you do own the pack out boxes.

These were just what I needed to keep the tools from rattling around in my packout boxes. I was able to get everything organized, and cut out slots for each individual tool really easily. No foam will last forever, but this feels pretty sturdy.

This does not fit for the 48-22-8435 Packout on the bottom edge. I had to trim it to get it to work.
