They look and feel like the original controls except that the lever does not have the wear and tear of the original controls, but the rest looks very good, handles very well, has good plastic, and recent buttons of very good quality. In my opinion these are better than even my original 64 controllers, less stiff buttons and way better joystick that actually recenters itself properly. I've bought 4, will buy again.

I use it on my steam deck, it works well, it reads it as a ps3 controller which is interesting. A problem is that the start button isn’t the start button, it functions as a ps button/xbox home button which is unfortunate. The real start button is on one of the c buttons. Thankfully on steam deck you can rebind everything to work right, except I think the home button can’t be changed so I had to put start on the d pad. Cable is also a bit short for me, but for pc users this should be no issue. I haven’t tried the wireless version but it seems like it can be problematic, so in my opinion right now I think it’s more worth it to get 2 wired ones for the price of 1 wireless controller. ... show more

This controller works perfectly out of the box with Project64 running on Windows 10. No issues detecting the gamepad, no problems with joystick sensitivity. Buttons respond just like the original N64 controller. Joystick seems to have a little more slack than the original, but not by much. I can't believe how authentic this controller feels. The media could not be loaded. Not as heavy as the og controller. Time will tell how the stick holds up to extensive play. Buttons feel great and USB cable is long. Very funny that the snap-latch for the rumble pack is installed even though there is no connection for one.

Bought this to play N64 emulation on my PC, I need the D-Pad to move the characters. All the buttons mapped fine except the D-pad up and down. Both inputs don't register at all. The D-pad seems squishy and I think that the issue. Can't use it, don't want it, don't buy it.

These are passable knockoffs, but the joystick feels all wrong. It's also maybe a bit too accurate to give a genuine experience. The worst thing is the texture of the plastic though. It's not bad, but it's a constant reminder of it being a knock-off. It also did not map to Retroarch completely, but is still far easier than mapping over a Mayflash adapter. ... show more

These are a lot of fun to play with! They feel like a decent quality. The only thing I want to mention is that the stick moves smoothly around its entire range of motion which is different from the original which has indents in the plastic that snap the movement to specific angles.
