Oh, you made the mistake of buying a fitbit? Join the club. Now that you're here with the rest of us in Regret Club, you might as well stock up on these. You're gonna need a lot of them. The problem isn't the build quality (although I've seen these things fall apart), it's that the basic Fitbit-engineered design of charging your watch using exposed tiny spring-loaded pins that are supposed to contact your filthy watch is a guaranteed recipe for failure. Eventually these pins suck enough dust and other junk into themselves that they no longer spring out, or the junk that gets sucked into the pin-pad blocks electrical contact no matter how clean the pin or watch are. At that point, the charging cable is a goner and you're on to the next one. Buy lots, you're going to need them, at least until you upgrade to a real watch with wireless charging. Of course, this will be only one thing you're going to learn to hate about your fitbit (HR errors, poor battery, touchscreen gremlins, limited functions, voice recognition that never works, etc), but that's not this 3rd-party cable's fault.

Love the extra length to the cable, but -- by it's nature -- this product has the same unfortunate design flaw that the OEM cable has; the pins on the charger head are EXTREMELY sensitive to pressure, and the spring inside/underneath any of them can very easily break, rendering the cable completely useless. Since the charger head has a fairly strong magnet in it, the charger can suddenly snap onto the back of the watch, smashing the pins down against the back of the watch if they aren't perfectly aligned to the watch ports. And once a pin spring has broken in the charger head, all 4 pins can no longer make contact with the 4 recesses on the watch... the cable is no longer able to charge the watch, rendering it useless. * The Fitbit honestly has one of the worst charging designs I have ever seen in tech -- and that's saying something, considering I've seen the Apple 'Magic Mouse'. But that design flaw is on Fitbit, and not this cable manufacturer -- they can only work with what they have specs for. But those of us who are customers, unfortunately, have to deal with the ramifications of this incredibly poor design -- this is now my FOURTH charging cable that I've had to buy, in as many years.

Avoid these - The pins on these fail constantly. I was wondering why I had purchased this same product over 4 times (8 chargers). Each time the pins effectively break and no longer charge the Fitbits. I was about to complain to Fitbit about the poor design when I realized they didn't make these. I purchased a charger from Fitbit and have had ZERO problems with it. In a short period of time this model failed... 8 of them. 8 of them... The single Fitbit brand charger has had no issues at all. Avoid this item. I see no instance in which it could possibly be conceived as better or more economical. Buy the actual Fitbit charger.

Charger cable works well with Fitbit Sense. This is my second time purchasing. Over time, just as with the original charging cable, the pins can get stuck when the spring breaks. It is best to have more than one on hand.

I purchased two of these for a trip so as not to risk loss of my only charger. I tested them and they worked so I thought this was great and left a 4 star rating. Like others, I've often had it say it's slow charging but I can usually attach and disconnect a few times and get it to charge normally but not always. Within a week, the first one had one of the 4 pins slide down into the charger, making it useless. I was able to get a needle nose and pull it back up a bit but touching it lightly pushed it right back in. I thought maybe it had been crushed during travel so I chalked it up to my fault. However, the second one did the same thing within a few weeks. I've ordered another generic free set of these and had the same problem. The original FitBit charger has done this as well though it took a lot longer to occur. Long story short, these are cheaply made but are cheap and a necessity so always get at least two so you have time to order more when they fail because they will fail. Even with this poor review I'm currently ordering two more as I'm on my last one and it appears from my purchase history that the price I pay for these doesn't change the lifetime of the charger.
