The color leans to the much more yellow side of gold and the chains are clearly made of plastic. This set was a gift for my dog and her dog-bestie… the ease of the adjustability can not be undersold. The two large dogs wear their chains regularly and are unbothered by them, probably sue to how incredibly lightweight they are. Despite being worn regularly, there is not a scratch on either of them. It's a big gold chain for sure. Plastic almost like a Mardi gras necklace. Looks better then it feels. Super light and cheap plastic. I bought 2 and 1 showed up broken. I'll have to glue it back together.
