I was pretty disappointed when these arrived. They were bent and smooshed pretty good. I spent a lot of time fluffing and bending and twirling these to try to get them to look nice but still haven't got it yet. (hence no pics) I will continue to work with them to try to make them look alright but they will never look real. The descriptions pics are a bit deceiving. They are a decent size and I'm hoping that I will get them looking good but they would never last outside. A gust of wind would make them spin on the stems because each one is articulated. They say they are made of "high quality silk fabric" but looks and feels like plastic. It also says the dimensions are 33x23. That is if you pull the longest fronds straight out and up, which you would never do, so really it is about 24x14.

I ordered the hanging large fern for an area on my Sun patio that I thought would look really nice and inviting. Trying to prepare for this spring and summer and I’ve always loved the way big full ferns look but unfortunately, could never grow them for any length of time…. Hence- why I really was excited about receiving this one. I think the idea is really great- I mean, I ordered it right? lol I don’t want to speculate but after putting the foam and the fronds in the basket it just didn’t go together well. I pride myself on being pretty crafty… and I still couldn’t get it looking good enough where I’d take a picture and post it:) I said I didn’t want to speculate but my opinion is I believe the fronds/leaves/greenery has been wrapped up for to long so I couldn’t get them to lay the way I need them to be to make the basket. I am trying to lay them out and after a few days again, I will try to make a decent looking hanging fern basket… honestly though at this price point I’d be very upset. My suggestion would be to lower the price and the expectations by stating that fronds may be twisted, wrinkled, etc… Or don’t wrap them all up so tightly… Just some food for thought. The ferns are pretty greens that mimic different stages of growth which is nice.

They weren’t packaged with any base, so I had to find something to put them in. They look decent at a distance, and work well for what I got them for, but they are definitely artificial when you look closely at them. I plan to add some additional foliage to make them look more authentic. They also need to be shaped and arranged properly when they arrive, but that was completely expected. Overall a decent value and work well for the intended use.

I'm going to hang these out on my front porch. I had to chuckle when the sales page no watering required. It will probably take a while for them to spread out like a wrapped up Christmas tree. I little greenery always looks nice! After at least 30 minutes of trying to unbend every single leaf I gave up. Some areas are so folded over they are worthless. Destroyed in packaging!

The picture with the ferns without the pot is $26/27, and shows 2 of them without pot. The picture with hanging pot is twice the price $55, and is described as FERNS plural with an S, leading me to believe that I was getting the TWO FERNS with an S, as described in other listing, in two pots, because the potted listing is twice the price, this would make sense. Because why would only one fern in one basket be twice the price? The tiny basket and piece are foam are definitely not worth $25 alone. Very disappointed the amount of money for one small potted plant, that is made to look very large in the picture, And is described as ferns, plural, making me think I'm getting the two baskets. So overpriced for one basket. I could've bought a living huge flower basket for this price, and the size should be matching the price, being a nice big large plant, it is not. On top of this you've got to put it together yourself, by placing the ferns into the Styrofoam, for $55 I've got to put it together myself? The sensory issue of stabbing Styrofoam with the plants is daunting to me as well. I don't look forward to it. Will not buy something like this again. Had there been 2 plants for this price with two baskets that would've been acceptable. This basket set should be same price as the two ferns, because your replacing one fern with a small basket. I'm sure it will look lovely when assembled, but price does match product.

I got this to hang from my dining room ceiling. The handles of the basket that it hangs from are very long, so if you have low ceilings this could be an issue. Just make sure that it isn't hanging anywhere someone will need to walk under. It doesn't look the most realistic from close up, but that's ok because it's hanging from the ceiling.
