This is going to sound odd but I love this product not only for the great quality but for the packaging as well. I purchased a two pack and they were shrink wrapped together so there was no chance for any product to leak out. I use this in my cold process soap recipes and it is very reliable. It does dissolve fast which is convenient. This particular lye is the tiny beads and not the flakes or powder. You must be careful when you pour it because they bounce so pour them into a container with higher sides. Here are a few pictures of soaps I made using this lye and also a close up of the lye ... show more

Great price. Better than handling a twelve pound jug of the stuff.

Best lye for making soap! It’s worth the wait for shipping. They almost always arrive earlier than it says as well! I’ve ordered many many bottles now and they have consistently been great quality and packaged nicely for shipping. I’ve attached a picture of my soap for proof :)
