  • Awesome and convenient after some tweaks
Style: 2DP+HDMI Triple Monitor KVM
I initially had problems with my 38" wide screen gaming monitor flickering every 15 seconds. I powered both the monitor and KVM off and on. Same thing. Then I finally fixed it by doing these 2 things. 1) Set the refresh rate down a little. My gaming monitor was at 200 hz. I set to 144hz. 2) I set the monitor to run in DP 1.1 version. Only if your monitor supports it. It's in the monitor's menu. I have a high-end monitor so it's available. Your monitor may not have it. After those 2 changes, it's running without any problems at all for the last 2 months. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Just works
Style: DP+HDMI Triple Monitor KVM
This is a solid KVM/switch. I have a laptop and a desktop and 3 monitors. Still waiting on some additional cables to complete my connections for my laptop, but so far it is working without issues. I can switch between systems in 1-2 seconds, hardly noticeable. This KVM DOES have EDID support, so there isn't any issues with windows losing position as you switch. ... show more

  • does what it says
The unit i received had a broken button which I ended up gluing back to place. it does what it claims to do, but sometimes the HDMI function stays behind and you have to switch twice to get picture. USB function works perfectly.

  • It Works but it's Simple
Style: 8K HDMI2.1 KVM
It works with my Logitech mouse dongle and my USB keyboard and my 4K monitor. HDMI only and USB 3.0 but I use the USB for the mouse and keyboard so that's ok. If you want USB to run a separate Disk or SSD then you'd need USB 3.1 bla, bla, bla. So, I keep it simple and it works.

  • Undecided if I want to finish setup or return
Title: Mixed Bag: Dual Monitor KVM Switch USB 3.0 HDMI As someone who works from home and also enjoys gaming, I was excited to try out the Dual Monitor KVM Switch USB 3.0 HDMI, hoping it would streamline my setup. However, my experience with this product has been a bit of a mixed bag. Firstly, let's talk about the positives. The ability to switch between three different computers using two monitors is undoubtedly convenient, especially for someone like me who juggles between work and play setups. Having a solid workstation with a GTX 3060 GPU and an RTX 4070 Super gaming computer, I needed a KVM switch that could handle the graphics capabilities of both, and this one seemed promising. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration when I encountered several issues. The most glaring one is the inconsistency with USB device switching. While the KVM switch claims to support USB 3.0, I found that it struggles with recognizing devices like my camera and microphone consistently. Often, I have to resort to unplugging and replugging these devices for them to be recognized by the system, which is far from ideal, especially during important meetings or streaming sessions. Furthermore, the switching between computers doesn't always function as expected, particularly with PC1 and the left monitor. This inconsistency disrupts my workflow and defeats the purpose of having a KVM switch in the first place. As for the laptop, which I occasionally connect as the third device, the setup process is straightforward, and having dual monitors significantly boosts productivity, especially for tasks requiring extensive data entry. At this point, I'm torn between keeping the product and returning it. If the USB functionality is intended solely for keyboards and mice and not for sound or video inputs, then perhaps my expectations were too high. However, if these issues stem from settings or configuration problems, I'm willing to explore potential solutions. In conclusion, while the Dual Monitor KVM Switch USB 3.0 HDMI offers convenience in theory, its inconsistent USB device switching and monitor switching issues leave much to be desired. As someone heavily reliant on seamless transitions between work and play setups, I may need to look for a more reliable solution unless these issues can be resolved. ... show more

Exactly what I hoped it would do

  • Efficient KVM Switch Setup
Style: 8K HDMI2.1 KVM
The setup process for this KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) switch was fairly straightforward. In my case, I use a desktop computer and occasionally a laptop that needs to be connected adhoc. For the past year or so, I have been constantly rearranging cables and cords every time I wanted to use the monitor with my laptop. This device eliminates all that hassle. To ensure that the laptop is powered, I am also using a powered hub connected to this KVM switch. The included instructions are easy to follow and take only a minute or two to read. This setup allows me to use the mouse, keyboard, and monitor with both the PC and laptop. Pairing it with a hub allows me to connect other USB devices to the laptop as needed, such as a webcam and the power adapter. It also has a wired remote that you can use instead of reaching for the KVM switch itself. So far, it has been an extraordinary addition to my desktop environment. It allows me to simply plug in the laptop via USB-C and press a button to display it on the screen and use the keyboard and mouse. Pressing the button again switches me back to the desktop PC. There is a delay of about 3 to 5 seconds when switching devices, which is entirely manageable. If there are any drawbacks, it is the need for additional wiring. To make this work, you will need an HDMI cable for each device and a third one from the KVM switch to the monitor. Another downside in terms of cables is the extra USB cords that must be run between the devices. Some cable management is required to make everything look neat, but once set up, it saves valuable time when docking and getting started. ... show more
