    • The Bottom Is Not Flat!

It is a good mug. The green color is beautiful (as other reviews have said). And it *does* work on the electrically heated mug-warmer device that you keep next to your computer on your desk. BUT: the bottom is NOT flat! I thought a flat-bottomed mug would work better than my normal mug on the mug-warmer. It works the same - because both my normal mug, and this new mug, have a raised rim at the circumference (outer edge) of the bottom, but most of the bottom is indented slightly, so is NOT in contact with the mug-warmer hotplate. I bought this mug because I loved the green, but my husband fell in love with it. He likes the large base and how sturdy it is. Unfortunately, I broke it while trying to take it out of the dishwasher and put it in the cupboard. My hand got wet and it slipped out of my hand and crashed onto the hardwood floor. My husband is traveling right now so I’m hoping I can get a replacement before he gets back. This cup is used for everything, from coffee in the morning to a little something at night. It’s bigger then i expected, it has a nice weight and can be a bit heavy for some people. it’s easy to hold, and I love the Color I’ll definitely be getting another one.
