I bought this replacement filter for my PuroAir 240 and it’s been working really well. It fits perfectly and was super easy to install. The air already feels cleaner, and I’ve noticed it helps with dust and some odors too. Honestly, it performs just like the original but costs less, which is a big win.     • Puroair 240 Device Indicates New True Filter Replacement for Puroair 240 Needs To Be Replaced

I replaced the official Puroair filter with the True Filter Replacement for Puroair 240, and the "Replace Filter" warning light blinked and the device beeped just as it did when the official filter demanded replacement. I don't know whether that represents a defect in the True Filter Replacement, or is a mechanism the Puroair device has for detecting and discouraging use of the more expensive non-official filters. In either case, it is annoying and, if its the latter case, it is infuriating (and possibly not allowed by law). UPDATE/REVISION - The continued beeping and "change filter" light flashing was human error. Reviewing the instructions for the Puroair device, I learned that the blinking "change filter" indicator must be reset by holding it after a filter change. Doing that stopped the blinking and beeping. The replacement filter appears to be working normally. There's something to be said for reading instructions before commenting. ... show more

I am not sure if this is the original replacement filter according to HEPA 14. The original filter had stamped on the bottom "Original HEPA 14". This product did not. There is an other offfer on Amazon with the stamp on the bottom, slightly more expensive.
