    • Not water resistant at all - ruined my cushions

Initially I was happy with them. They’re a good dark navy color and looked much better than the dirty old ones I was replacing! They were a bit larger than my old ones, so not a perfect fit, but that’s to be expected. The pillows do have these weird straps tied to them that were annoying to me, but I could’ve dealt with them. Then it rained. Nothing crazy, just a summer shower. Our patio is not covered but the cushions are under an overhang so they don’t get rained on directly. The waterproof cushions that came with the furniture have survived 6+ years of rain, snow and all kinds of wet weather. A day or so later, I went to sit down and noticed they were damp. I went to flip the cushion and it was completely filled with water. There was literally a puddle inside the cushion and the foam insert had been sitting in water and was ruined. Every cushion was soaking wet and some of them had started to mildew. Nothing about these covers is water resistant. And what a mess it was removing wet covers from foam cushions! If these are for indoor use only, they’re a good replacement. But if you plan on using them in any sort of weather, I’d avoid. I’m not only out the $ I spent on the covers, but several of my inserts need replaced now too! ... show more

This review is for the cushion covers. The quality of the fabric and the zippers is very good, the sewing and piping are done nicely. A perfect replacement for the cheap and faded cushion covers that came with the set. The non-slip bottoms are a nice touch.
