This Professional Makeup Set is not at all what I would consider a professional makeup set, but more so one for the true beginner. Most things are made with fairly cheap materials, but there are a few nice things, as well as some confusing ones. You are definitely getting what you pay for here. The lip oils, mascara, and eyeliners are my favorites. All of them go on smoothly, feel nice on my skin and lips, and last for quite a long time. The lip oils have a vast array of beautiful colors, and I have to say that these are the true winners of the whole lot, in my opinion. There are three foundations; a very light one, a somewhat less light one, and a very very dark one. In the listing it shows all the different color combinations you can make by mixing the dark with the lighter colors, but there are no instructions on how to mix them properly in order to get those colors. The eyeshadows are absolutely beautiful, but most of them are hard, if not impossible, to apply. I like to apply most eyeshadows with my fingertips, many are impossible to do in that fashion, or even with a makeup brush. Some apply almost too easily, and when you get them on, you need makeup remover to take them off. In the listing, the blushes look quite different in color, but in person, three of the colors look almost identical. The other three colors have such little difference it is too indiscernible for my liking. They apply okay using a brush, but the color does not seem to last very long. The lip colors are all a similar color and shade of red. This shows in the listing, but somehow, I was sure it was showing one color being applied. I was wrong. If you love red lip color, they may be your favorites, but red is not for me at all. They are very dark, and do not go with every skin tone. The cosmetic bag is the perfect size, holds everything you receive with ease, and it looks nice, as well. It seems nice, so far, but I'm not sure how long it will last, as its quality does not match up with nicer ones that I have received with other makeup kits. The brush set is very cheap and it is rather difficult to even try to apply any of the products using them. The kit does come very nicely packaged and is attractively presented. It includes most every product you need for completing many decent makeup looks, but the quality is just not there, in my opinion. This would be a wonderful set for a tween or teen, sans the red lipstick and dark eye colors. It makes for great fun and practice. As such, and for what you pay for everything that comes in it, I would recommend it!

This is an awesome make up set. It has so many great things in it to choose from and it even has a bag to keep it all together. It's not top of the line make up but it works well and gives me the chance to try out different products without breaking the bank so to speak.
