I am pretty happy with the fullness of this grass placed at the base of my fountain. I ordered 3 sets of 12 of the gradient red to achieve this fullness and ended up putting a few more in the plant next to it. I held each bunch of 12 in my hand and ran my hand over the tops to fan them out a bit and then just stuck them in the dirt. I am not a fan of the plastic smell but that will fade but is the only reason I did not give this 5 stars. I may sprinkle a little eseential oil for the intial off-gassing smell.
