My daughter wanted to dye strips of color in her hair. Since she has dark hair, temporary hair dye didn’t work well. Since she is only 11 years old, I didn’t want to bleach and then color. I decided to try these because they were inexpensive and seemed easy. They arrived quickly and my daughter was thrilled to try them out. They did not come with instructions of any kind, but I found some YouTube videos and followed the instructions. We only used two at a time. They are subtle, but she loves them. She has straight, smooth hair that doesn’t usually hold clips well, so I teased her hair a bit at the roots and out the clips in. They stay in place all day until we take them out at night. We do not leave them in her hair or try washing and styling with them in. But they are easy to take in and out. She is very happy with her small pop of color! If we wanted more color, we could easily add additional clips.
