Not bad for the variety of colors included in this kit, but the thread is somewhat thinner than I’d like, as well as too fuzzy. I suppose it’s best for sewing emergencies, because although there were three kinds of yellow threads available, I couldn’t find the Golden Yellow that I needed. The tints available were too light in hue for my immediate needs. In addition, I wanted to have a much thicker thread; but, at least, I could unwind and spin together multiple, thinner strands of thread to get the required thickness I needed for my initial repairs using this kit. The wide variety of colors is good; but, the general quality is not the greatest, just OK.

This bobbins sewing kit has 50 colors. It’s almost including all the colors. Some of them I haven’t even seen before. I’m a starter, I just got a sewing machine and this kit is all I need for now. The quality of the thread could be better, it’s not that strong I can pull and break easy. Maybe I can just make double thread. For the price it’s worth it.

I needed to try out some sewing machine needles, so thought it would be a good time to clean out my machine, put a new needle in, and get to work seeing how the new needle behaves. I had difficulty finding the end of the thread and getting it loose from the spool. I have never liked thread wound on a cardboard spool as I always end up with the thread falling off at least one of the ends and can never get it sorted out. This thread is on the cardboard spools and there is no place to hook the loose end when you are done using the thread. As I use this thread I will try to find a way to combat these problems. I do like the amount of different colors and the matching bobbins. Once I found the end of the thread on the bobbin, I didn't have any problems with the thread on the bobbin. I did have a problem with my upper thread breaking four times while sewing samples of straight stitching as well as some simple decorative stitching. I appreciate the opportunity to try out this thread. Thank you.

I was attracted to the array of colors included in this set. Too often, I'd want to start a project and have to go out and by the right color thread. The convenience of pre-wound bobbins was appealing also. Pros: Great assortment of colors, and wonderful double-decker bobbin storage container. The bobbins are plastic, not cardboard like some pre-wounds. see pics Cons: Thread is thinner and fuzzier than a brand like Mettler or Gutermann, so would not use for garment construction or quilting -- but okay for most general sewing and craft projects. I will definitely use these threads, but selectively, for my sewing projects.

This was nice, lighter thread for thinner materials. Sometimes the heavier threads bunch up and it doesn't go well. Overall, you get what you pay for in quality. I would probably watch for a coupon at Joann's and buy more quality thread, but this is a nice assortment of colors to have if I am in a pinch. Also, I have a bernina, and these bobbins do not work well. I have to wind them onto a nicer, metal bobbin. These would probably be fine for a cheaper machine, but not for the one that I have.

Love all the matching thread to bobbins and easily fits with my little organizer. Only thing about the thread is that it is on the thinner side. I usually use coats & Clark or gutermann thread so that I don't have to sew over sections multiple times or worry about the thread snapping. I do have some simpler projects that just need thread to hold it together like in basting that will have another final thread on the outside. I can see that for being useful for that. This thread is still useful for many projects.

Negative out of the way first - the thread itself isn't SUPER high quality, but it's not horrible either. I think this would be the perfect starter kit for anyone just getting into machine sewing. There's a fabulous assortment of colors and it's so convenient that the bobbins are prewound.
