These are good little hair forks. If you have a ton of hair they are probably too small for you, but they work fine for the rest of us. The black one is a smoother, denser wood and nicely finished. The brown one is not as nice, and the wood inside the fork near the top is a little rough. They are pretty cute. They're only packaged in a cellophane bag, so inspect them when they arrive to make certain they didn't get damaged in shipping. You will want something nicer to put them in if gifting. The price of $9.99 for two seems a tad high, but not unreasonable.

Very lightweight and durable hair sticks. They’ll take some practice to get the hair in a perfect bun. The designs on the end of the sticks are fun and make them a fashionable accessory for any hair type. I have medium-long hair, a lot of it, and my hair is very thick. Pros: won’t pull hair, won’t cause headaches, fashionable black color, super lightweight. Cons: I wish they were a bit longer so they could twist the bun a few more times.

I love these! To me, I have a slightly witchy aesthetic and I like that. They aren't so over the top with you though that they can't be worn everyday. There would but they are painted very dark. It's a great collection-only use one at a time though some people might use two. These are effective at holding my hair up. They're nice and long and frankly to me they're easier to work with than my bone sticks. I just put my hair up in a bun and then work the stick in and back out of the bun, then I flip the whole bun and run the stick down again, and this way I can keep my hair up all day. Some people will twist their bun and then run the stick down through it again, and that way it works for me too though I don't often use it There's enough here to share with a friend if you like, or simply keep them for lifetime supply. It's a generous collection. I have never had one of these break or tear up because they're such a simple thing. I find that I can sleep in them okay but I am side sleeper. Love them!

These are beautiful and so cute! My daughter (brown hair) tried these in her hair, she has more oily hair than mine, and we were able to get them to work ( hold the hair without it falling out in too many places) on the first go. I tried them in my hair, I have dryer hair and a bit shorter than hers, and I had to try a few times to get my hair to stay more in the bun form. The hair would probably stay together better if we had used some product in our hair. These hairpins slide easily into our hair. They hold well and don’t slip around. They do work a bit better in “dirtier” hair versus freshly washed. We love this alternative to hair ties or scrunchies and the cats on the ends are too cute! With black and brown you can match any outfit.

I love all of these, and you get a lot of them! The wood seems to be sturdy, and they are easy to slip into a hair bun. They are so much fun, and easy to use! They add a lot of charm to your hairstyle. I think it’s a good price too, for what you get. I only wish they could have given us some different colors too, like natural wood color, but these are advertised as Ebony, so they are perfect. You can wear just one alone, or combine two or three in a bun.
