Edited to add: YAY, this doesn't give me contact dermatitis, and I've worn it at least a dozen times. I've rolled it on my wrists (a common area where I'll get a rash if something is particularly allergenic), up my forearms, my neck and behind my ears, and have remained rash free. Not to say that this is allergen-free, but I'm typically pretty sensitive to a lot of ingredients/fragrance components, and if this doesn't make me itch, it's probably not likely to make you itch either. Winner, winner, chicken dinner! ----------------------------------------------------- I was walking around work the other day and smelled something delicious in the air - it was like someone had just baked vanilla cupcakes and was piping the scent through the air vents. As it turns out, it was one of our patients who had walked through the hallway 10 minutes earlier, and I was amazed that I could still smell her perfume long after she had passed through. Thankfully, one of my colleagues asked her what her fragrance was, and to my absolute shock, it was this sub-$5 wonder in a bottle. I immediately (like, literally, within 3 minutes of finding out what it was) ordered this and it arrived yesterday. I put a small dab on my wrists and was immediately in vanilla heaven. Yes, it has chocolate in the name, and yes, there may be a small cocoa-buttery type of undertone, but make no mistake about it, this is a vanilla-forward scent. My husband, who has one of the worst senses of smell of anyone I've ever met, was immediately like, "Hey, it smells like funnel cake in here..." That's not an association I think I would necessarily have made, but I can see the comparison. To me, it's a bit like a freshly baked vanilla sugar cone from Salt & Straw (yes, that's crazy specific). It's very sweet and gourmand, so if that's not your vibe, this may not be the fragrance for you. Actually, I take that back because I'm really more of a fresh/fresh-floral kind of person and this scent still really scratches an itch for me. It lasts a shockingly long time and doesn't change much throughout the day, which I kind of appreciate because what you see (smell) is what you get. I was about to buy this in the spray as well, but have heard reports that the oil is much nicer smelling and lasts longer, so I'll stick with this for now. I also purchased Soft in the oil roll on without any knowledge of what the scent was supposed to be, and although it's nice, it's a very close dupe for Aquolina Pink Sugar, which can get a little cloying after a while, and always reminds me of an old coworker. I still have my original bottle of Pink Sugar from about 20 years ago, so for me, it's a pass. This scent, though - this lovely little, cheap-looking, non-descript-bottle-having scent - is an absolute steal. Praying it doesn't give me contact dermatitis because I can see myself wearing this one a lot.

Smells divine and nostalgic, chocolatey with a hint of muskiness, just like the description. I tend to lean more toward light, unisex scents that are more floral or earthy, but wanted to take a chance with this scent given the reviews and the price. I love it — it’s like an adult version of the vanilla body spray I used to buy as a kid. I was worried about the quality, given how many of the recent reviews said the quality has gone down in recent years. Nevertheless, the batch I got (2) seems to be strong and long lasting. The price is honestly unbeatable for the quality. The packaging and the tiny bottle it comes in are adorable, as well. Teeny-tiny, easy to carry around. I would definitely buy this again. UPDATE: it’s been a little over a week and I’ve been wearing it daily — compliments whenever I leave the house. I’m making this my signature scent and I’m buying a million of them asap lol

Let’s start with an important reminder when it comes to fragrance: scent is highly personal. What smells like a luxurious dream to one person may be completely off-putting or undetectable to another. Your scent palate and your own body chemistry play huge roles in how a fragrance performs and presents itself. With that said, I was honestly very hesitant about purchasing Al-Rehab’s Choco Musk. The reviews were all over the place. Some people swore by it, calling it delicious and cozy, while others said it smelled synthetic, barely there, or outright unpleasant. I didn’t know what to expect. But here’s what completely sold me- an unsolicited compliment from someone who rarely notices this kind of thing. We were just driving home, and I had casually rolled a tiny amount of Choco Musk on my wrist on top of bug spray (not ideal conditions for any perfume test, let alone a gourmand scent). I honestly wasn’t expecting anything dramatic, just a personal experiment. Within two minutes, my significant other turned to me and asked: “What is that smell? It’s like a bakery.” But not just any bakery….there was something sensual and sweet in the way they said it. That moment said more to me than any review possibly could. They had no idea I had tried something new and still picked it up right away. That’s never happened with any other oil or perfume I’ve worn before.

It smells so good! I feel like the lid is a little impractical bc it's never fully closed but it's a good product and scent. Not gonna lie, it's a bit of a granny smell but I like it because it's not harsh. I don't know how else to explain it. It smells kind and nurturing. I also like the price because it's decently cheap for how much I love the smell. It's also bite sized so it's easy enough to transport but if you can, I would get either a different life or find something else to store it in because it has a good chance that it will get on all your stuff. It's definitely more of a "stays-on-the-counter" perfume and not a "put-it-in-the-bag" perfume. It's super easy to apply too because of the roller. I'm not sure how long it last for but I can comment under this and let y'all know.

ladies let me tell yall. this is the real deal. i wore this at a cookout and already got compliments from 3 people. if you want a perfume that is gourmand but isnt too sweet then, this is for you. this roll on doesnt contain alcohol and lasts a lot longer than the spray. choco musk is a warm, marshmallow scent with a small hint of hot chocolate. making you indulge in the sweetness of the scent. i will say that if you do not like the smell of chocolate, do not wear this. the only issue i have with this rollerball is that its hard to roll on to my skin. and the bottle is very small.
