Look I'm a simple man. I just want to drive to my destination without my sweaty a__ soaking through my pants. I've already got the AC full throttle but it's just not enough. What are our options? Buy a new car with AC seats? New car payment at $400-$500 a month, nope that's why you're looking here on Amazon. Install new $1000 AC seats in your 10 year old corolla? Nope, I'm still too cheap. Now here we have $50 dollar solution. Is the seat kinda hard? Yes. Is the thing loud? Yes, but if you've got your AC blasting like you should, you won't hear it.     • Worked great until it didn't.
To be fair it worked for a few summers. This year the back portion didn't feel as cool as before. I just realized the seat wasn't hot. It was on of the small fans that locked up and was burning me.

I've had this product for four months. I bought a black car with black leather seats. Needless to say, it gets HOT in the summer. This cover cools the crotch and lumbar area just fine and you can feel the air. The middle of the back and higher is just so-so. I drive leaning back in my seat, though. If you're more of a back-off-the-seat sitting straight up type of driver I think you'll have no issue with it cooling all the way up to your shoulders. I don't find it to be very loud, even at high speed, but I usually have my radio up too. As for comfort, I don't even notice it's there. It installs in seconds and once the temps drop I'll be taking it out for the winter so I can enjoy the heated seats fully. Two tips I have read about this type of seat cover. 1. Use the floor/dash vent setting so some of the cool air is lower and the fan can pick up the cool air. I do this and it helps a lot. 2. It sounds weird, but one person installed his cover upside down so he could have better back cooling rather than crotch cooling since his back is where he sweated the most. Would I buy this again, yes. For $50ish, if I get two summers out of it I got my money's worth. ... show more

    • Does it's job, but you make some sacrifices
I wasn't expecting this to be as good as a factory cooled seat but figured I'd give it as shot as I was sick of getting out of my leather seats during summer with a sweaty back. The back cooling feature worked as intended and did it's job while the seat bottom cooling seemed to not get as much flow due to your weight being pressed on it. The cover also made my seat less comfortable. It seemed fine at first but after I removed it when the weather cooled I realized how much more comfortable my seat was without it. It's fine for a shorter drive but after sitting all day you notice the difference. You can feel the plastic channels in it when seated so I recommend it for summer use but not year round. I tried it in another car without AC out in the desert and it was really nice to have, but again was less comfortable after a full day of driving. One thing I did like was how it matched my black seats with red stitching, and looked almost factory when first installed. ... show more

    • Keeps you cool on hot days
I have leather seats and they can get so hot when the car is closed up during the day. So hot that you can’t wear shorts and get in the car. It can take the skin off the back of your.bare legs. A constant blast of air all around even the back of your legs in front of the seats. The only issue I have is the bar that goes under the back top and seat sometimes works forward and it hurts to be sitting on that bar. I have to constantly adjust the cushions tighten it up etc. it’s a pain to do this every time but well worth staying cool on those extreme hot road trips. ... show more

I have these installed on a Toyota Tacoma TRD PRO. Works great for the price. Fan is a little noisy. But you can play your stereo to subdue the noise. Very comfortable to sit on. Very durable. Has 3 cooling speeds. Pulls air from in front of chair. Installs on chair with straps that are well positioned to make it look and fit very well. Totally worth the price. Despite checking 12V power socket on 3 different cars (all showing 13 to 14 volts when car was running), did not do anything when I plugged this into 3 different cars. No indicator light, no fan, no "cooling". Obviously faulty, not checked at the factory prior to shipping. Going back. The red stripe was a nice touch, is the only thing I can say good about it. And, when the seat is installed, you are sitting on the controls, so have to lean over to the door to turn the thing on. Poor design. ... show more
