This is a basic, simple solitaire with some sparkle. It fits true to size. It looks much more expensive than it is. I have this in rotation to wear according to my mood with some other Moissanite rings I own. I try not to put on lotion or wash my hands much when wearing this ring since it isn’t a solid gold or titanium setting. But I also appreciate the less expensive materials since if this gets lost, I won’t be devastated over the loss or expense. My thoughts on Moissanite in general is this: I love it. I prefer the sparkle of Moissannite over diamonds, especially any diamonds I could ever afford. It reflects a larger rainbow spectrum and actually looks the way I always want diamonds to look. I also like that the stones are guilt free for me with no ethics issues of where and how they were mined like diamonds offer. They are much prettier than cubic zirconia, too, thanks to that rainbow effect. They are actually harder and more durable than CZ, too. Moissanite jewelry is just a win all around for me between appearance and cost. ... show more

Ring got shipped in a plastic bag instead of jewlery box and it either got all bent in transit or it was that way before it got shipped. (See photos) With all that out of the way, the ring size is accurate, the band is pretty thick so it's probably going to be durable and the stone itself looks good. I'll update after my return is processed and I receive my replacement, if all goes well. Update. Got my replacement and it came in a jewlery box this time, unharmed. (See video) ... show more

I'm very happy that I read another review about the POMODA 0.8 CT Moissanite Engagement Sterling Silver ring being a bit small in terms of size. I went with a 7.5 rather than a 7 and I'm able to easily get the ring over my knuckle without any trouble but, it stays in place. If you like stone rings that are set low so the stone doesn't get caught on anything, this ring is a good option for you. I do have to say that it took a number of pictures in 3 different rooms under several lighting types and angles to capture the fire of this moissanite. You can even see that my hand is wet in a picture; I ran cold water over my hand and then took pictures using flash while the ring was still wet. While this stone is less than a carat, I don't believe the size is the reason or sole reason for the limited fire. It's a pretty ring with a nice setting. ... show more

This is a very nice ring. The ring is marked S925 for sterling silver and the platinum plating is well done. The four prong setting is very secure. The Moissanite is so very sparkly. The heading is a bit misleading because it is listed as 1.5 carats, but I believe that is only applicable to the halo ring and not the solitaire. My stone measures 6 MM, which is about .8 carats, so the description is correct. I ordered a size 9 1/2 and the ring measures over a 9 3/4 on my ring sizing mandrel. That's not too big of a deal though, I can just layer it or put on a ring sizing band. All in all this is a lovely ring that would make a wonderful gift for anyone. ... show more
