When I started looking at 1/2 carat rings in the jewlery store my jaw Dropped. I can not believe these things are so much. I have been to many stores browsing and comparing this one to what I see in retail, I think this is a great deal that will not break the bank if you are trying to watch Finances. It looks just as good as the ones in the known retailers. Its 14k gold, some of the ones I looked at were only 10k and twice the price of this with same size and quality Diamond. The bottom line is I haven't popped the question yet. She may not like it and then I will be back at square one. But I didn't take out a loan or run up a credit card getting this one either. I purchased this as a together forever ring for my girlfriend of 6 years. The company delivered exactly what I ordered on timely basis for a good price.. The only problem is I didn't do my homework on the quality ratings of diamonds (the 4 c's). I gave it to my girlfriend, who was thrilled. The main problem happened when she proudly showed it to her girlfriend, who is pretty experienced with buying diamonds. First thing she said to her is that it looked yellow and pretty much made my girlfriend feel like she got something cheap. At that point I knew I needed to return it and do some homework. The company refunded my money within a week. Again, they sold me exactly what they advertised and it was on me to determine the quality. That's why I gave it 4 stars. I took one off because many companies won't even sell this low quality diamond. If your budget says this is the right ring and the person who receives it isn't concerned about the quality of the stone, it's a nice ring. I just decided to go another route. ... show more

It’s beautiful! The picture makes this diamond appear so large but it’s actually the perfect size (for us at least). It is soo sparkly. We were nervous that it was going to look cloudy, but it’s pretty clear. The band is thin, but not too thin. It measures about 2mm. Can’t beat the price.
