Car is actually pretty fast was actually surprised by that cuz normally they claim they are then aren’t but I purchased this and was playing with it and the four wheel drive broke contacted them and they sent me a replacement so with that being said I will give them the five stars they deserve it’s worth what they are asking for what it is the car is pretty decent and heavy for how small it is would recommend this product.

My kids got small rc trucks for Christmas so I wanted a smaller truck to drive with them. When I received the truck I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome and well built it looked. The aluminum chassis and shock towers look great and are very durable! The truck is very fast, faster than my 4x4 slash on 2s. I was incredibly surprised how well the truck jumps and handles right out of the box. I had a few screws come loose and fall out which made the truck unusable until they were replaced. LAFPACY had great customer service and helped me immediately. I definitely recommend this truck for newbies and experienced hobby enthusiasts.

Let’s all first address, the elephant in the room that elephant being Lafpacy…. Now this is only an assumption, but if you were to ask me, I’d have to say that this “” company purchased a bunch of defective ROG1s from Rlaarlo with material issues and what I can only imagine was a extremely discounted wholesale price, then somehow without changing anything about the vehicle turning into a 114 scale from a 1/16 and then sell to unsuspecting buyers whom which order RC cars of this caliber late at night whilst partaking in liquid stupidity. (Guilty) So where to start? Hmmmm. Well besides the cheap materials used in the plastics and metals. (Dog bone axles and tierod ends) and the vehicle breaking 3 times in the first day of driving, the vehicle is atleast one thing that it claims to be, Fast. Cuz this thing can pass anything on the road except a NYS inspection. ( IYKYK) To be honest. Its too fast for its size and material composition. Id continue on but then just realized the my times worth more than this truck and this review. That being said, DON’T BUY THIS VEHICLE ! Trash, trash, trash

I love this truck it ran amazing I would have given five star rating if I could find more parts for it the reason I'm giving it a three stars cuz it's hard to find what I am looking for the motor is top notch and this thing rides about 45-50 mph it broke the very first time I used it I had extra parts it's still going strong the only problem is can't find parts for the steering servo

This little truck is great. Stupid fast and a lot of fun. It’s not as durable as I would like but there’s replacement parts readily available and easy to upgrade aswell.

This RC truck is very fast and fun to drive, but not as durable as I would have thought. Pros: Drives fast and straight, and I enjoyed the light bar when using at dusk. You can get parts directly through the manufacturer, but paying shipping costs that are as much as the part is not fun. Cons: Given the marketing on this truck it's touted as very tough. My first time driving it, probably 10 minutes worth I brought it inside only to find the rubber that holds the R clips in the front to have ripped off. No big deal I thought, I can live without it attached to the body. By the third time using it the light bar was falling out, I had to put it back in place and tried to glue it down so it would stay. One day I took it to a dirt bike track, and flew it off some jumps. Afterwards I found both of the frames that hold the shocks and body mounts got bent. This also broke the body shell as the back mount moved enough to rip the "cargo box" that holds the frame mounts. I was able to take it apart and bend the frame parts back to a point that was good enough to run again. Lastly, with probably less than 10 times using the truck, my son accidentally hit the tire of my car and it broke the front steering hub. This was unrepairable by me and had to order parts to fix. I bought this to have fun playing with my kids when they are using theirs. I'm no professional RC driver and maybe that's the problem, but I didn't expect this many things to go wrong so quickly. My sons $50 Deerrc truck has been treated way worse for far longer and withstood the beatings, so I expected this to not be so fragile.

Out of the box, these trucks are fantastic. Great suspension, oil filled shocks, foam filled tires, and excellent balance for the size. You will need to do a bit of maintenance on them and keep the screws tight with blue loktite. I have had a few parts fly off and was not able to find them in the dirt before I started performing regular maintenane. Don't worry, most parts are readily available here on Amazon. Befoie using the truck, tighten up the wheel nuts, and check that all the suspension screws are tight. And, if the gear box starts slipping, there is a little cover over the gears where the motor and drive train meet. I have had the set screw come loose and had to blue loktite it back in. It's an easy fix with only 2 screws (1 on top, 1 on bottom) holding the drive gear cover in place. I considered putting the faster 60mph gear in that it comes with, but honestly, I don't even run it at full speed with the 50mph gear that comes installed. I would not consider this a toy for young kids, but more of an entry level racing machine. And if you want to teach your child about maintenace, suspensions, and taking care of a well built machine, it is a fantastic learning tool. My 14 year old daughter and I absolutely love driving and working on these. They are a lot of fun!!!
