abunda_amazon_reviews I don't write reviews normally, but I wanted to write this one, after reading all the different reviews, especially 1 and 2 star reviews. It seems people want a 5 star hotel at motel 6 pricing. Look people, you get what you pay for. YES: These are Chinese, and not top of the line Craftsman. This set in that top quality will run you $200 or so. You can buy the basic wrench from Craftsman even cheaper if you forgo the ratcheting closed end if price is your only concern. I've used Craftsman hand wrenches for 40+ years and never felt the need for any higher end brand name tools. Consistency of fit was always good and so to was strength and reliability. I have the good Craftsman stuff in my box, but wanted these for a tool backpack that frankly, will get beat. I wanted the ratcheting box for speed, and not tear up $200 in wrenches that WILL rust to pieces eventually in all the wet these will get. We'll see how long the ratchet lasts. I know better than try and break nuts with them! They came well packaged, especially for what they are. I wish they would have photographed with the packaging, it would have put a lot of your fears to rest. Typical for a lot of tools I've received. If they were out of their slots and all scratched up, blame your shipper, not the packaging. How many people plan on making the shipping container the permanent storage of their tools! For the love of God people! These are Craftsman. That means they are gauging accurate compared to my more expensive wrenches, STILL made hearty for a Chinese product, and (I checked), backed by the lifetime warranty. So there you go. Is it the best wrench Craftsman has? Hell no. Far from it. But it's still as good or better than any off brand you can buy, with or without a lifetime warranty. If you want a high quality, well polished, pivoting, locking, high-end ratcheting wrench, then spend the money, a lot more money, on the proper tool. These are perfect for what they are, and I expect, will last a very long time, save perhaps the ratchet? I wonder. Time will tell...... But then again, it is a Craftsman.....;;Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Basic, entry level wrenches with ratcheting. If that's what you want, buy with confidence.;;crforfreedom;;;These wrenches are absolutely, hands down, the best set of hand tools I've ever bought. Everywhere a socket doesn't fit that you have to grab an end wrench, one of these will fit, and most likely will ratchet. I don't know... I guess I could have spent a lot more on wrenches and gotten some that click after 1/4 of a degree or whatever, but I honestly don't care. I already have saved so much time and literal anguish thanks to these. It's usually some stupid nut on the backside of something that otherwise has miles of clearance. Pop one of these guys on and it's off in twenty seconds. Regular end wrench? Minutes if you're lucky. If you're me or like me (more likely, only one me), you drop the wrench you're using into the bowels of the front cross member somehow while struggling to get it off the nut you can't even see to move the wrench back to the starting position so you can turn it 1/15th of a turn before doing the whole thing again and it is GONE FOREVER and you DIE from frustration. Then you go on Amazon and you buy these and they are shiny when they get to your home, and they come in an organizer that fits nicely into a tool chest drawer, and you are happy like never before.
