I don’t usually write reviews but women need to see these when it comes to swimsuit shopping. I have struggled with swimsuit shopping for YEARS and dreaded it, until I decided to try some off of Amazon. The first swimsuit I ordered from Amazon was amazing! It was 3 years ago and it has lasted! I needed new suits this year and searched Amazon reading reviews, looking at pictures and reading about sizing. I received this suit from Younique today after loving the Younique suit I received last week. This one was a slightly different style but I thought I would try it out. I. LOVE. IT! The fit is exactly what I wanted! It seems to be made with quality material that is soft and is very flattering on my weird figure! Lol! I am 5’10”, with GG breasts and a mom belly. I need to lose some weight but am healing from a spinal fusion. This swimsuit covers all of my self conscious spots and even holds my gigantic boobs in place! Haha! It is also great for hiding my mama belly. I was a little worried about it being a two piece because I thought the top may float up when in the water since my usual style (a swim dress) always did. Not at all! It stays perfectly in place. I want this in every color but I’ll stick with two for now in hopes that I can shed some pounds soon. Don’t hesitate to buy this suit! Size: X-Large Color: Blue Paisley
I am most definitely an apple shape. I typically wear a size 12, and based on the size chart in the chest size I was on the high end of the Large. So I sized up to the XL, which I typically do in swimwear, and I really like how it fits. I don't have a back bulge and it fits nicely throughout the stomach area helping hide my belly and spare tire. Also the front straps come over far enough that they cover my little fat pockets where my arm pit meets my arm in front so that makes me happy. I also think the bra is supportive and the cups are nice for modesty but aren't weirdly shaped or too thick. The straps are adjustable but I did have to adjust them up quite a bit to bring it up high enough in the front to not show cleavage (I am 47 with a 4 & 6 year old so I'm running around, sitting on the ground, getting climbed on, and bending over a lot so try not to show any cleavage). The straps attach to the suit in the back with a slide in clip so I am going to sew them down as I'm a bit worried I may have a wardrobe malfunction with that as they do easily slide. The swim suit bottoms are okay. They show a little bit more cheek than what I'd like (I'm 47 and would like my entire cheek covered...they aren't horrible but I'll probably wear boy shorts swim shorts instead) but they fit nicely in the hips and waist and didn't create a muffin top. Overall very happy with the top; it's flattering and isn't too frumpy and I feel comfortable in it. I have already ordered another color/pattern so I'll have two this year :) . ... show more

I wear a size 10-12, am a little larger busted and this suit fits really well. Anything with adjustable straps is a plus. Color is great. Will be buying another in a color.

I'm 5'7", 190lbs and consider myself pear shaped. Usually an L in tops (38B bra) and XL/14 in bottoms. I ordered two different colors in XL and both bottoms were too small (they technically fit but weren't flattering) and both tops were way too big (at least an inch gap in the chest). I exchanged both for a L knowing the bottoms would be way too small (and they were). The purple stripe top was still far too big in the chest but uncomfortably tight across the hips. The blue stripe top fit perfectly in the chest but is too tight across the hips. Ended up returning all 4 - not for pear shaped ladies! ... show more
